Positive: well appointed apartment, stylish, WiFi, kitchen well stocked with plates, glasses, cutlery
Negative: Payment via credit card not accepted. High security deposit to which credit card payment is accepted. Multiple keys required from two safe-lock boxes - first set to get into bldg., + remote to use elevator, then gets replaced w/second set of keys/remote to apartment. Air conditioners are available in common areas, bedroom/loft bedroom but ambiente temperature stayed 24 C and cool air didn't get lower that 17 C - in short, we could not keep rooms cool enough to be comfortable. Upstairs shower drained slowly, water pooled, and shower walls/stone/tile could use a thorough scrub to eliminate mold and musty smell. The lower level bathroom had a tub w/handheld shower head - not unusual in European bathrooms, but not practical if guests are used to standing when showering. When it rains, water comes through kitchen window and small window in living room. I alerted owner's property manager of water coming in.
Summary: Great locale; lovely apartment. Needs minor TLC; wish credit card pymt accepted

Positive: The location was great and the unit was beautiful.
Negative: Getting in was cumbersome - had to pick up keys from 2 different lockboxes. Host communications not great. We were informed upon arrival (for the first time) that I could not pay w/credit card but had to use some app I've never heard of or authorize a wire transfer from my bank. Felt very scammy. Upon calling Booking.com, they contacted the host, who then accepted my credit card. We communicated with the host twice and did not receive a response for > 24 hours. Let them know about a coffee maker that didn't work, and no light in one of the bathrooms (sole lighting fixture was broken or burned out) - only response was sending us an 82 page manual for the coffee maker and "oh, sorry" about the light! Future guests should be aware that the 2nd bedroom is an open space, with no doors/privacy. The open staircase is lovely to look at but a true hazard for guests with children or balance issues.
Summary: Great apartment and amazing location - would stay again but host needs to be more responsive.

Positive: - from inside, it is a nice clean place to stay. - the place let you feel you are really in Italy, there are books about Milano, some are with historical pictures, makes you feel that you are in a real italian place. - there is coffee.. and coffee machine - all needed things to wash your clothes.. etc
Negative: - accessing the place is a nightmare. The elevator is very old, and you need to have the key to use it. - The llace is not family friendly.. especially if you have kids less than 4 yrs old it is dangerous for the.. the place of the apartment, there is a real risk that they fall from the 2nd floor. also the stairs inside are dangerous for younger kids - the door is very narrow you may hit your knees when accessing it. - the window does not have any view on the canal or anything.
