Summary: The couple running this motel are awesome. Sumner Beach is such a great village to unwind. So close to the city yet a lot more laid back. The beach and variety of eateries are all walkable from this motel. Recommended.

Summary: This place has a great location just a block from the Sumner esplanade and walking distance to a dozen or so places to eat. The unit was spacious, functional, and safe. We had plenty of space for all of our stuff and it was a great place to relax and enjoy our time here. It's a bit dated (especially the carpet) but overall was a good place to stay.

Summary: Nice and close to the beach. Communication was great and the room had everything needed to cook a small meal. Outside of the busyness of Christchurch, this is a great town to visit and place to stay.
