2 Bedroom Condo in Port Clinton

This beautiful condo is nestled in a resort type condo association, right on the shores of Lake Erie.
We were so happy to have purchased this unit! A spectacular view!
Front row seats to the pool, hot tub, sail boats, jet skis and beautiful, beautiful (yes, I said that twice on purpose) sunrises and ohhhhh those sunsets! Grab your glass of wine and the ones you love, and remember why life is so much better at the lake.
The floor plan of the condo is well suited for families or couples alike. There is a separation of privacy for both bedrooms.
The bathroom has a double sink and a separate shower and toilet area.
The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. You will find everything I think you will need to enjoy dining in a pleasure as well.
There is a washer and dryer in the condo.
The dining and living area are spacious and open on to one of three balconies in our condo. ( Did I mention there is a private balcony in the master bedroom? ). Tell the kids everyone needs to go to bed and slip out on your private balcony. Enjoy that night cap and marvel at the stars , watch the lights of the boats on the lake and listen to the waves hit the shores.
We have enjoyed coming to our condos at the lake for many years. The grounds here are impeccable, you feel like you are at a resort. I guess you are! Private beach area, heated pool and hot tub, (you can actually sit in the hot tub and watch the activity on the lake) a separate sunning deck, also on the water, for sunning or napping. A beautiful hardscape patio area with two gas fire pits and waterfall. Charcoal grills are available at an area by the water with a grassy area and picnic tables. The Shores also offers tennis courts and security.
This is the second season for this condo on this site but we are well seasoned in the vacation rental business at this same location. We own two additional units here. If you would like to see my reviews with a little longer history, please view my listing number 693824. I have rented this unit for the past few years.
I also have a newer unit that is a two bedroom loft! Listing number 1269006.
I have had families and their friends enjoy all being able to stay at the same location to enjoy their vacation together.

Summary: I have stayed The Shores several times, the complex and grounds are always well kept. This unit has everything you need. No need to run to the store for essentials as soon as you arrive, Bev has enough stocked to get you through the first day. It has been remodeled recently and is always clean, clean, clean. The bed is very comfortable and the furniture is in excellent condition. If any problems arise, Bev is very attentive and easy to contact. The location is a short drive to Port Clinton restaurants, shops and Kroger. There is no elevator at the complex, so expect to carry your luggage up a few flights of stairs.

Summary: Quick 2 night trip during the off season with our 4 kids to show them Lake Erie for the first time. The building is older but the condo does not reflect that. The furniture is all new and everything is very nicely decorated and clean. The view is beautiful and the deck of the pool overlooking the water was perfect. Additional towels/ pool towels would have been nice as we almost always have those provided in rentals but we made a quick run to Walmart for some. Jolly Rogers next door was great and the kids loved exploring. It was a great mini stop along our road trip to Canada!

Summary: When you need a break, this is the place there is many restaurants close by the condo was clean and stocked when we got there the owners immediately responded to any concerns, you can't ask for much more of a view when you look outside troubles melt away, highly suggest this unit.

Summary: Bev was awesome and informative. The view and the pool was outstanding. We enjoyed the condo and the kitchen was well equipped. There are a lot of steps to get to the condo (30) to be exact. No elevator.This should be in the description of the condo. Lastly, some of the residents aren’t very inviting or friendly. One of the residents accused us of parking in someone else’s spot (under the condo). Which we weren’t.

Summary: Very pleased with this property. Great location - less than an hour to Cedar Point and 5 minutes to Port Clinton & Jet Express. Kids enjoyed the pool, private beach, and just walking around the property. Very clean and Bev did an excellent job of communicating with us leading up to and during our stay. Overall great experience.

Summary: The pictures don't lie! View from the condo and its balconies is gorgeous, and accompanied by the sound of the fountains, and occasionally the waves, is so relaxing. The pool is heated which was a huge bonus. The condo was clean and had what we needed (as a family of 6 who cooked all our meals there). Bev was so personable, accommodating, responsive, and kind. 5/5 would stay here again.
