Positive: The location was awesome! If you want a “home” away from home experience this will provide it for you. The view from the balcony was amazing of the ocean. So peaceful and we saw the stars at night while listening to the ocean😍 the people are so beautiful and they smile greet you and continue to meander along minding their business. We were not stressed about anything at all! It’s called Sunset view which is so aptly named. They have a washing machine on the balcony but no dryer. Most places have no dryer. We didn’t mind that either because it allowed for my husband and I to spend quality time together talking while hanging the clothes on the lines. This was our belated honeymoon. We truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you very much.
Negative: Water pressure was a lil low at times but we laughed about it and made it. We couldn’t figure out how the tv worked but still not a negative because we very rarely watch tv here in the USA. It allowed us to communicate with each other more.
Summary: Awesome! Beautiful view of the ocean, stars and sunsets.

Positive: The photos are not misleading. They match the property. The two-bedroom appartment is clean and modern and has all the facilities one needs for a nice stay - kitchen utensils, bedsheets/blankets, towels, toilet paper, soap, TV, AC, and many more. On top of that, it is spacious and well-decorated. The terrace is huge; it has a nice view, especially when the sun sets. The hosts are nice, helpful and responsive.
Negative: It was not easy to locate the property; the address given was not precise. The hosts could be more organised. The owner visited me without letting me know in advance. When he knocked, I had to get out of the shower, get into a dressing gown and open the door to talk to him. It is important to call or text the customer and agree on an appropriate meeting time convenient to both parties. The most annoying issue was water flow and pressure in the shower. The day I arrived, water would flow during 4-5 mins and stop. It would flow again after half an hour or so. I informed the hosts; immediate actions were taken and the problem was solved the next day.

Positive: It was very well presented. It was very good value for money. It’s the best accomodation for the cheapest price in Mauritius. If you are on a budget then this is the best place to go to. Just make sure you have a car! The apartment is well sized for 4 people. The place next door makes very good food at very cheap prices at night. Supermarkets and ATMs are close if you drive. They let you park the car inside the gate. The terrace is huge and very beautiful. The host was very nice and helpful. He helped us with anything we needed.
Negative: The staircase outside to go up the apartment.
