Summary: This property is very much in need of an update! We didn't dare walk across the room floor without shoes as carpet is far in need of replacing (sticky and worn), bed springs are audibly well worn (no way to get out of the bed without waking others in the room). Upon arrival one of our rooms needed the sheets changed due to being dirty, and if you stay on the first floor, you may have a non-smoking room but the hallway reeks of cigarette smoke. Thankfully we were given a first floor room as there is no elevator for the second floor. We travelled for a graduation so we couldn't be choosy, no rooms were left in Lynchburg when we made plans, lesson learned!

Summary: The evening desk clerk was very patient, attentive, and comforting to me after a long winding drive on back roads in the dark. He explained the particular traffic conditions in front of the hotel to increase my safety awareness. The room was immaculate, with the exception of fingerprints on the clear stand for tv guide holder. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, if needed, and give recommendationto anyone planning to visit. It's a good stay for the price.
