Positive: Incredible location. The view looks towards the inland sea towards Montpellier. The apartment is attractively furnished and feels modern and cozy. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and stretches incredibly far westwards along the coast. Practical and enjoyable location to be based!
Negative: Initially very very poor communication with the host. It took us 3 hours to check in, despite me contacting the host well in advance to coordinate an efficient check in. However the host was kind enough to give us a late checkout in order to say sorry for this. Cleanliness of the dishes was just not good enough. We had to clean many of the plates, cups and pans on our arrival. Despite paying quite a high sheet and towel charge (30 euros), we only received two large bath towels, and nothing to dry dishes with or any bathroom hand towels. Plus we had to put the duvet sheet on our selves. The sofa is broken, and every time we sat on the edge, it tipped over. This wasn't very relaxing. There was no wifi!! Also small touches like sufficient condiments, or a few Nespresso capsules were not provided. The windows were also filthy. I understand it's difficult to keep windows clean by the ocean, however they looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a very long time.
Summary: Great location, nice apartment, however with several small issues

Positive: The pictures are accurate and the apartment is well maintained
Negative: Host didn't share the apartment number beforehand and when I called her upon my arrival, she was not aware of my arrival date. She even told me there was no reservation. It was quite hard with my luggage to pick up the keys, since I had to pick them up from a restaurant (and didn't know this beforehand). There's no wifi which is incredible to me in 2024. I would recommend booking to encourage and/or make sure that all the properties listed count with this essential service. There was one roll of toilet paper for my whole stay, almost no soap in the bathroom and one towel (I had to purchase goodies for my stay which is the last thing you want to think of). Considering that the beach is in front, that two people can stay in the room and the 10EUR charge for towels they needed to provide at least 4 towels.
Summary: With such a pretty apartment, it could have gone way better.

Positive: Quiet to sleep, views, sunset, varanda, summer vibe.
Negative: No toilet paper to be found in the apartment. No sheets for the sofa bed for my son when I booked this 6 months ago, I paid it and sheets, towels and toilet paper were included in the booking. Changing rules after you close a contract, which was paid for is not a smart move if you want customers to appreciate your place. Not returning nor recommending anybody I know to stay here. The apartment is ok but not superb. It could be. Work on what's missing. Basics are missing.

Positive: Clean, beautiful apartment with a nice view in a calm area near the beach and restaurants, really nice for a relaxing time.
Negative: After arriving at the destination we waited more than an hour, even though we arrived at the time we indicated on booking, to have informations on how to get the keys and also the full address of the apartment making us waste our time, it was not the most pleasant. However I would assume this is not a usual practice.

Negative: There was an strange smell, it needs some ventilation. The doors for the terrace donโ€™t have any protection against insects, so, a lot of mosquitos go inside when trying to get some fresh air
