Summary: Very quiet property, wonderful view of the lake. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, beds were very comfortable. Only suggestion would be to update carpeting in upper level, 70's carpet. Didn't really need to go up to the loft area but the carpet has seen better days. Also, the shower water pressure was disappointing, perhaps due to the fact that the water temperature was backwards? Turn it on to hot then goes cold, usually is the other way around. I felt I spent more time in the shower trying to get all of my shampoo out as the water pressure was so low. Other than those two issues we enjoyed the place. Very clean and convenient to Grand Marais and hiking.

Summary: The property is in a lovely, peaceful location, with easy access to area parks and Grand Marais. We stayed 4 days and it felt like being at home. Comfy furniture and beds, good kitchen set-up, and plenty of space. Love the fireplace and how nicely it is set up for guest use. I highly recommend this home!

Summary: We had an excellent stay at Superior Solitude. Very private cabin, can't see the neighbors, which we loved. Convenient location between Lutsen and Grand Marais, lots of hiking and outdoor activities nearby. Spotlessly clean.

Summary: Superb cabin. Fantastic Lake Superior views in a very quiet and secluded environment. The cabin is very well stocked and very clean and comfortable . Gorgeous fireplace ! Lots of places to go snowshoeing, skiing, shopping. We come up to the north shore every winter and this is the best place we’ve stayed at.

Summary: Absolutely the perfect place, perfect location. Very private, relaxing and impeccable home! Listening to the waves all day long, watching the beauty and wonder of Lake Superior right from the windows or out on the awesome deck was so captivating. Walked along the rocks…looked at the night sky…it was magical in every sense of the word! We will definitely return!
