Summary: This hotel is incredibly friendly and has a special atmosphere. The staff are outstanding and will really make you feel at home. The pool and the restaurant alongside are also very atmospheric. The breakfast is outstanding too!

Summary: Swiss Bel Hotel is a fine place with great staff, good value for money. I did not eat the food, so I have no comment there. it is a ways out from town, but Grab cars are all over the place here.....so no worries.

Summary: Enjoyed our 1 night stay in this hotel before joining an expedition ship cruise. Hotel very nice, room clean, very comfortable, excellent hotel, very hospitable staff and service including airport pickup, great bar/cafe. Minor issue was service in restaurant for dinner, we ordered our meals, my partner's meal was served very quickly, mine was served about 30 minutes later, well after my partner had finished hers. But overall a very good hotel. Kendari town itself rather unattractive, rubbish everywhere and waterways like sewers but if travelling through Kendari then Swiss Belhotel is certainly the place to stay.
