Summary: Amazing hotel with excellent service. Rooms were beautiful and beds soft. The rooms are furnished with stunning antique pieces. Great restaurant downstairs!

Summary: Staff are amazingly nice and cooperative. Really old / Authentic and historic hotel but so clean and excellently maintained ! Breakfast was delicious especially bakery was so fresh !

Summary: So happy to have found this gem of a hotel! A historic, 500 year old building on the banks of the Rhine. The room was very comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. I would definitely go back! A few things to be aware of: there is no elevator, a taxi or Uber between Eglisau and the Zurich airport cost between 50 and 100 Swiss francs, and the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. But all in all, a lovely, relaxing place, so different from Zurich.

Summary: We stayed in this delightful hotel the night before our flight back home. Even though we checked in late and checked out early, we enjoyed the accommodations. The hotel is in an old building with gorgeous wood floors and updated amenities, including a spacious bathroom. The communication from the hotel was prompt and helpful, and I recommend staying here.

Summary: The property is located on the Rhein River and our room had an amazing view. We had a wonderful breakfast every morning and the staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant. The room was modern and super clean, but the hotel itself is a historical building. There is a small beach and changing rooms nearby and it is possible to swim in the river. Over the bridge and near the hotel you can rent kayaks and SUP’s. It is about a 15 minute walk from the train station and downhill. It is uphill going back to the station but you can take a bus (5 min. ) or call a taxi. There is a wonderful bar/tapas on the river with live music about a 5 min. walk from he hotel called Vivi Kola. Opens at 3pm. Get there early 5pm to get a seat. Loved our stay in his quiet village. Lots of beautiful walks along the river.
