Here you can see with a little luck even pass the sunset and dolphins.

Summary: We have rented in La Herradura many times so we know the area very well. Casa Marianne was not a disappointment. Very clean, plenty of room for the two of us, well stocked kitchen (the only thing we missed was a blender) and the bed had good mattresses. The view from the balcony was wonderful with sun from early morning until late afternoon, and we also saw a whale! We often took a walk to town, it takes about 20 min. We love this area so much because we have a lot of great places to visit by car that are not so far away. Will recommend hiking in the Rio Verde valley with special waterfalls, a small stalactite cave and wonderful nature and mountains. From Frigiliana we have often taken the 4 hours hike to the top of El Fuerte. The view from the top is stunning! This will not be our last visit to La Herradura, and we would love to stay in casa Marianne another time. Thomas, the owner, is a great host that answered our questions very quickly. Thank you! Summary: Very clean house! Great location but if you have a car beware of very narrow and tight spaces to navigate. House manager Alex was very responsive. There were no check in instructions. A basic notebook of house instructions would have been very helpful- instructions for fans, washing machine, internet passwords, trash disposal, local grocery etc. New bedroom pillows are needed— too flat, bedding and towels could be updated.

Summary: The house is great. It has a fantastic view of the Mediterranean see from the living room and the terrace. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Very clean. La Herradura is on walking distance, but you need a car.

Summary: Apartment was clean tidy and local area quiet. Great balcony over looking the sea. Liked the fly screen on bedroom windows, did n't have to worry about insects at night.

Summary: A wonderful holiday we are happy to go back here, You need a car and the pool is a located a bit down from the apartment, but the view from the terrace outweighs everything. La Herradura is a nice town and the surroundings are beautiful, and it is not far by car to Nerja or Almanucar we are happy to go back here.

Summary: I cannot say better words about this property. My wife is quite exigent but she does not get involved in the selection so it's usually a surprise for her, like booking through Hotwire, and she LOVED IT. The views at dawn are stunning!!! I used to wake up early and have a cup of coffee while enjoying the orange sky in an absolute silence. The house is very big with a first floor including a kitchen dining and living areas and small guest toilet. The bottom floor has a master bedroom with its master bathroom that has a large bathtub and separate shower and it's massive, and the second room is also quite big and there is another bathroom with shower in the access to both rooms. We did not use the swimming pool since we wanted to stay at different beaches but we stopped by to see it. It's some levels below the house. You need to go up and down but due to this inclination of the hill you can have those stunning views from the terrace. The relation with the owner and the property manager was excellent and fluid at any time. We arrived very late at night and they were flexible to arrange how to deliver the keys. Free WiFi. The property was extremely clean and kitchen had all what you need for cooking, plus two different types of coffee machines: filter and capsules (of course, you need to buy yours). Very close to La Herradura city center and beach. Many people walked up and down to the city. we would have done it but we stayed with a 16 months old baby that would have made it very difficult, but if you are in a good shape, leave the car keys at home and strength your legs!! Thank you for the stay and as we already have flight tickets for 2022 , we will probably book the same property again.

Summary: My husband, daughter and I have just returned from a 10 night stay in Casa Marianne, a gorgeous property. Thomas the owner was brilliant, even accommodating an early check in and answered any questions we had prior to our stay. The house itself is very welcoming and homely and very well equipped for every need during our stay. The location is superb, the view from the balcony is stunning, we regularly watched a pod of dolphins swimming by whilst enjoying breakfast on the balcony. The house is ideally located for visiting La Herradura or Almunecar, and just over an hour to Granada. We cannot recommend this property enough, it was an absolute pleasure to stay here whilst we explored an area of Spain we've previously never visited. Thank you Thomas (and Luis the house manager who met us when we arrived and explained everything), we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Summary: We are so happy and pleased with Villa Marianne where we stayed for two weeks in june-july. The location is great with the most beautiful views over roof tops and, of course, the sea. Wonderful! The house is very well equipped, we didnt miss a thing. The house was very clean and neat. Not to much furniture, just right. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms are downstairs so the bedrooms doesn’t get so hot. There are ventilators in the living room and in the bedrooms. The swedish translation say that the house has Air Condition wich is doesn’t have. The terrace is the place where we spent the mest time when at home. We will miss it! You really need a car when living in this location, up on the hill. The pool is a number of steps down. No loungers by the pool, but chairs and tables. The beach in Herradura is wonderful. In the weekends it is hard to find a parking space. We highly recommend a vacation in La Herradura and Casa Marianne.
