This beautiful home was built in 1918 on Belle River, LA. The house was built out of virgin cypress from the Atchafalaya Basin swamp. The original owner of the house had a sawmill in which he cut his own lumber to build the house. Since then it has been remodeled on the inside, while keeping it's original look. The outside still has it's original cypress wood from when it was first built. However, it has been painted. It has a front porch with a view of the river along with a pier directly across the street. The house also has an added sunroom which looks into a cypress swamp. It has a fully furnished kitchen, linens, washer and dryer, internet and cable TV. The home is located in Pierre Part, LA home of Troy Landry from the hit show Swamp People. The house is located about 1.5 miles from Troy's morning hangout, Duffy's. It also overlooks Belle River and is approximately 2 miles from accessing the Atchafalaya Basin and Lake Verret.

Summary: I walked in and immediately noticed the picture of The Rainbow Inn , memories galore of my family. The stay was wonderful, it was extremely clean and very homey feeling . We all Absolutely LOVED sitting in the back sunroom. The host was very attentive and communicated well. We will definitely be staying again. Thank yall for everything .

Summary: It is an amazing very clean home. We love the water in front of the home. Our furbabys were also comfortable and had plenty of room. Will stay again. Very great host. Mr Winston is awesome. He cared about if you needed anything but we didnt cause all we needed is here. Thank you

Summary: 3 couples get away for Mardi Gras. The house was great. Very clean. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. We took our dog. Plenty of room in the house. There needs to be more coffee cups, only 4. Need a corkscrew. Plenty of cookware to use. The host was very helpful and quick to respond. We had no hot water until we found it to be unplugged. Overall, we were happy.
