This comfortable and refined apartment is perfect for your holidays in Porto!
Upon arriving at the apartment from exploring the city, you will relax on the sunny terrace enjoying a Porto wine, against the background of the beautiful view of the “Duques” district with its tall trees.
The apartment is located in an Art Nouveau style building of Porto. Its restoration work is the result of our commitment to this family project.
On the entrance floor you will find a lounge where you can prepare your drink (we provide drinks to our guests), choose a book from the shelf in the hallway, listen to music, and breathe the atmosphere of the period, the typical atmosphere of a bourgeois house. of Porto from the turn of the 19th century to the 20th century
Via the elevator or stairs you go up to the apartment floor.
The apartment is very comfortable, bright and functional, even for longer stays.
The openly eclectic decor is punctuated by pieces from different periods and origins.
All these pieces are authentic and have been recovered.
This is the only way to achieve true sustainability of the planet and respect for nature.
All the old wood and beams in the house that had to be replaced were reused to make some furniture, namely the beds and headboards.
Among classic furniture, an antique chest of drawers, a 19th century Portuguese settee, and an antique Chinese chest, you will find Portuguese furniture from the 70s and the iconic chair that the Portuguese designer José Espinho designed in the 60s for Olaio.
The lighting is designed for you to enjoy great comfort. You will find different lamps from our collection, from the Hungarian wall lamps from a hotel in Budapest, to the Portuguese lamp from the 70s on the living room ceiling.
The "Duques" neighborhood is the ideal option for your stay, it is the coolest neighborhood, with soul and charisma in the center of Porto. The Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto is located there. Here you will find quality local shops, art galleries, excellent restaurants and vegan options if you wish.

Summary: This property was perfect for our stay in Porto. It was an easy Uber ride to the river district. There are several restaurants in the local area and a small grocery that met our needs (all within walking distance). The only negative we experienced was our car was blocked in the parking garage a couple of times and resulted in us having to change our plans for the day. The hosts were pretty responsive BUT do stress they do not offer consierge services. Port, wine, fruit, and pastries are available as part of the stay.

Summary: From the moment we stepped foot on this property we felt cared for. Up and beyond the usual stay! Jorge explained the details of the beautifully renovated apartment so we knew how to use everything and he also introduced us to many restaurants in the neighborhood. We went to three of them and they were great. Highly recommend this place!

Summary: Host was incredibly helpful and made our stay pleasant and comfortable as possible. The host sat with us and mapped out the city, sites, restaurants, set up drivers for us and even had a nice welcoming of local wine and food for us. We greatly appreciated their attention to detail which made our stay that much more memorable!

Summary: I stayed here on a couples trip earlier this month and we all really enjoyed this apartment. It is a lovely apartment in a wonderful residential section of Porto. Jorge is a wonderful host and had great recommendations on where to go for food and site seeing. We greatly enjoyed a bar in the area he recommended and ended our nights there each night. The apartment is well equipped and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

Summary: Just as advertised! Lovely location, close to tourist attractions but a nice, quiet neighborhood. The apartment was perfect in every way for four adults. Manuela and Jorge provided an extensive amount of amenities from a large fruit basket to local wine and port. The common area was a nice stop after a long day of sightseeing. We will be back for sure!

Summary: This is easily one of the best VRBOs we’ve stayed in. Everything is just as presented in the listing, very clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked with every convenience provided. Even beautiful dishes! Wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts were so helpful and friendly! The neighborhood is quiet but with restaurants and bakery and grocery nearby. The walk to the old section is easy.

Summary: A perfect retreat during our 3 nights in Porto. We were so comfortable after our long days of sightseeing, kicking off our shoes and totally relaxing with a glass of complementary port, in this beautiful townhouse.Seamless check in and out. Walking distance to everything. All four of us would highly recommend this property.

Summary: If I could give 10 stars I would!! This beautifully remodeled apartment was in an old beautiful tiled building from the 1930’s. They have a sitting parlor as you come in so we were able to leave our bags and relax, Manuela brought up a beautiful bowl of fruit and many bottles of wine and port. She went over our map and recommended several good restaurants. Best VRBO I have ever stayed in!!!

Summary: We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful big apartment. The owners provided us with every possible resource for our stay, and even did laundry for free. We sat down with them for an hour and learned the history of the building (built in 1911) including their history of purchase, and the 7- year renovation project by the architect owner. I can't recommend this properly more highly. It is superb!
