Summary: This visit was to see my family after an 18 month hiatus. I could walk to their home and when not with them had all the conveniences needed at this location across from a supermarket and with many good restaurants nearby. Gary was accommodating and very nice. I recommend this compact apt for anyone who has family or business nearby.

Summary: Great location, right on Solano in the middle of great restaurants (and across the street from a Safeway) in Albany, not far from everything else in Berkeley (but removed from the hustle and bustle).The place itself was small, but serviceable, secluded, and priced right. It has a small sitting room with a huge TV, a compact kitchen, and a master BR with a decent size bed. No washer/dryer.There is no central heating, so it was quite chilly when we arrived (during a March rainstorm), but it warmed up when we cranked up the two space heaters that are in the place.Overall, we were happy to find this place on short notice and in a pinch.
