Positive: There wasn’t a single thing that we didn’t like….the family room was huge. Plenty of room for myself, my partner & my two daughters, aged 12 and 14. The bathroom was of a great size with both a bath and walk in shower with fresh towels for us all. All amenities you could wish for within the room (kettle - tea, coffee & hot chocolate, Lindt chocolates & biscuits too). There was also a cupboard with crisps and chocolates, etc in the dining area, we were just asked to pop something in the honesty box if we took anything. Absolutely lovely place!!

Negative: That we didn’t stay there for longer!!! 😉

Positive: Anita and Mick were wonderful hosts - friendly, helpful and very welcoming. The accommodation was spotless with so many thoughtful additions. Our room was huge and had everything we could need. Located in a great spot for exploring the Peak District or a country walk.

Positive: Anita and Mick were lovely hosts and very accommodating. They were very knowledgeable of the area and the bird watching when having breakfast was lovely.

Negative: Only issue we had was with the tv signal and WiFi on occasion but it did not impact our stay that much.

Positive: Question was, what did you like? Absolutely Everything. Anita and Nick are an amazing couple. We almost felt like we were staying with friends, who couldn't do enough to make our stay really memorable for all the right reasons. Anita's attention to detail is exceptional with everything being immaculate. We mentioned that it's my wife's big birthday year, where we do a little something every month. Anita went above and beyond to make everything so special and even put a birthday card on the side. There's nothing we could think of that she's not already thought of. If we could score higher than a ten we absolutely would have, truly amazing and memorable stay

Negative: It's impossible not to love the rooms, the breakfasts, the bakes the host's or the location.

Positive: The hosts were incredibly welcoming and truly went above and beyond for us! We arrived around 9pm and she happily cooked us two pizzas we brought with us and set the dinning table up lovely for us! The bedroom was very clean and cozy, with an incredibly comfortable bed! For breakfast we had a lovely garden view with a fine selection of breakfast snacky bits that we got to have along side a lovely breakfast she made for us! Definitely worth the stay, would highly recommend!!!
