A prime location and the historic charm of this unique lakeside home
in the resort community of Macatawa makes it easy to relax. The
Boathouse is set on a spacious, well groomed lot overlooking the
active Lake Macatawa Harbor, with the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan
a lazy walk away. A wrap around deck and screened in porch allow the
luxury of enjoying the ever-changing of this lakefront resort.
The Boathouse cottage interior has all the comforts of home. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a refrigerator, stove, and microwave. Five bedrooms on the second floor provide 1 King size, 3 queen size, and 1 double bed bedrooms. In addition, there are bunk beds on the first floor and 2 twin beds in the upstairs family room. Other features include 2.5 bathes with all linens and towels; 3 Flat Screen TV's; a washer and dryer; central air conditioning and an outside gas grill off the kitchen. This is a non-smoking unit and pets are not allowed. The Maximum Occupancy is 14 people. Wi-fi internet is included.
In addition to the Boathouse facilities, guests will have access to the exclusive Macatawa beach. The long, private, sandy beach is located on western shore of Lake Michigan and stretches as far as you can see. The "Big Red" lighthouse that marks the Holland Harbor Channel stands proud at the North end of Macatawa Beach.
For the Boater, there is a 125 foot, 2 sided dock with power and
water.

Summary: Cool old building, not maintained as it once surely deserved to be. Great for large groups but apparently in the middle of a dispute with neighbors around access to the beach …a bit of a cloud over an otherwise fun time with the family.

Summary: My friends and I stayed here for a wedding and really enjoyed the property! The fire pit and views of the water were definitely the highlights. Plenty of space to sleep, and get ready with a group of nine people.

Summary: We came for Tulip Time in May to celebrate my 50th. We have a large family with grown children. We had plenty of space and a wonderful time. Staff friendly and helpful, quick to respond too. Such a great place, safe, quiet and beautiful. Close to town but enjoyed staying at the property too!

Summary: There are a lot of us and many children! This property was perfect. We enjoyed the ability to gather as a family and play games in the various areas, eat dinner and enjoy the beautiful views. It was wonderful! We were close enough to Holland to enjoy the town as well. The grandkids are already asking to go back!
