Beautiful 5 bedroom log house with wonderful lake views. Perfect for extended family vacations! Private pier with firm sand bottom swimming. Firepit by the water. Great fishing lake. Screened in porch and large deck overlooking water. Stone fireplace inside. Close to South Haven, golfing & more. Great Bear Lake is private 160 acre lake with no public access. Must see to believe!
Winter/Spring: not renting.
Summer 2024: No availability
Summer 2025: We expect to make one, possibly two more weeks available next summer. 7 night minimum. Friday to Friday check-in/out.

Summary: Huge house with a perfect beach for toddlers. Plenty of sand (and toys available). Bunk room for the older kids (for us, 5, 8 and 10) with a parent bedroom next door. Outdoor hand held shower with cold and HOT water for rinsing off before going in. Plenty of toys (Canoe, paddleboat and pontoon). House extremely clean with plenty of towels for all. This was our 2nd year and we had a couple of hiccups but the owner was immediately available and took care of everything quickly. I would highly recommend this rental (Unless you want it the same week as we do!😀

Summary: A group of eight adults and five kids (ages 3-10) had the best week at this lake house. It was a perfect picturesque location, family friendly, fully stocked kitchen, lots of beach towels, beach toys and other goodies provided. The lake wasn't too busy with boats and we had lots of fun going out on the pontoon boat every afternoon, and typically playing on the private patch of beach during the mornings. We made use of the grills there, and also roasted s'mores by the fire pit most nights. The attached screened in porch was perfect to listen to the birds and eat breakfast early in the mornings with whichever little children were awake. Would highly recommend for families, we had a great time!

Summary: Very peaceful lake. The home was great, the kitchen was well stocked with every pot, pan, and utensil one would need. The deck was huge and wonderful for sitting and reading. Basketball net was a nice surprise. The lake was at a comfortable temperature to swim in. We all enjoyed our week there. Absolutely no complaints.

Summary: We had an amazing stay at Great Bear Lake. There was plenty of space and we really enjoyed the large kitchen and family room area. The beach was perfect for our young kids, shallow right off the beach, but deep enough to jump and swim off the pier. The outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing after the beach. There were lots of spaces to hang out (deck, screen porch, basement) and plenty of room for our 4 families with young kids. We had a great trip and highly recommend!

Summary: Property was nice good for swimming caught some fish not alot but a few different species which the boys liked. Great deck overlooking lake with area below for playing cornhole sit and look at lake. Needed info pamphlet about house and how we were supposed to leave beds etc. when we left . Info about area would have been nice closest store restaurants etc as most phones did not work in area which would have been nice to know as someplace GPS wouldn't work overall very nice place for family vacation

Summary: We never tried a VRBO before…. It was exactly as advertised. A beautiful house on a beautiful, quiet lake. The hosts were easily to reach and everything we needed was there. Small beach perfect for grand kids and the swimming atea between piers just the right depth for them. I could go on and on…. It was perfect 10/10!

Summary: Our small group had a fantastic stay at the "gorgeous cabin". It was one of the best equipped vacation rentals that we have ever stayed at. The owners were friendly and communicative, making sure that we had everything that we needed for a relaxing long weekend. The home and the experience were excellent. I would highly recommend this property on Great Bear Lake.

Summary: This is the third year our family has stayed here and we have loved every minute. Evening Pontoon rides on the lake, dinners on the porch and nights by the bonfire. A stunning log cabin inside and out with all of the amenities of a high end home. We will be coming back as long as it is available. If you are looking for a great getaway on a beautiful lake, this is it!

Summary: The lake was clean and the sandy beach was perfect for a little kids. Right off the end of the pier, the water was deep for diving and bigger kids. It was a great house and location for a family getaway and for kids of all ages and their parents.
