Summary: I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast and Carol and Jeff made my first experience a truly wonderful and memorable experience. At the end of our stay, both hosts felt like family and will be missed. The service is excellent, the breakfast great and the building itself really charming. Would gladly stay again. So glad I was able to experience this!

Summary: We stayed here 11 years ago and it still has the same charm! Carol and Jeff & team were great hosts, so welcoming and a delicious breakfast each morning. Aunt Liddys room was really spacious amd comfortable with lots of character. We loved the private entrance, own staircase and deck. More great memories from Captain Farris House!

Summary: From the moment Carol met us on the front porch until we chatted one last time in the kitchen after a gourmet breakfast, we knew we were in great hands. Room was beautiful , oversized jacuzzi was the best, fresh baked cookies the surprise…. our second time, can’t wait for the next.

Summary: My friend and I stayed here for 5 days a couple weeks ago to celebrate my birthday. It was such a cute and quaint place. The owners and staff were so sweet. We had to check in quite late due to travel accommodations and the owner sent detailed texts/videos on how to check in and access our room. The breakfast everyday was lovely and really made our stay even more enjoyable. Loved everything about it and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place that is homier than just a regular hotel.

Summary: Carol was wonderful. She asked about dietary restrictions and went out of her way to make sure that we could enjoy the breakfast and snacks even though we’re gluten free. She was extremely nice and helpful. The room itself was lovely- clean, quiet, had plenty of places to sit and relax and a small balcony with a table and chairs. The bed was comfortable. We would stay here again.
