The MalinKiGa is a studio cabin for 4 people completely renovated with quality materials (new bathroom-windows-kitchen, new furniture and floors, brushed wood and old-style plaster on the walls).
In the Residence Malinka, Falaise district in the heart of the Domaine des Portes du Soleil, departure / return is on skis, all amenities are within 5 min (shops, restaurants, school and ski rental, packages and ski lifts, Aquariaz).
Avoriaz is a pedestrian station, access to the apartment directly at the exit of the parking lot.
Classified 3 *** by the Departmental Union of Tourist Offices and Tourist Offices of Haute-Savoie the apartment with a surface of 23m2 consists of:
- an alcove with bunk beds (80X190cm) and a window
- a bathroom with large shower (150X75cm), towel dryer, toilet, hair dryer and a vanity unit
- a kitchen equipped with microwave, 4 hot plates, hood, dishwasher, refrigerator, Tassimo coffee machine, kettle, raclette, toaster, iron, table and 4 chairs
- a living room with coffee table, 2 stools and a Rapido convertible sofa (Bed express brand DIVA, SIMMONS 160X200 mattress 18cm thick), Samsung Smart TV 82 cm connected to internet, WIFI. There is a door between the living room and the corridor leading to the bathroom and the sleeping area
- a ski locker and a quiet balcony with magnificent unobstructed southwest view (photos of the panorama on the site taken from the balcony), with no commercial activity below, not overlooked. With 1 table, 1 electric barbecue and 2 outdoor chairs.
Bed linen installed (duvets, sheets), towels provided and end of stay cleaning included.
Non smoking apartment.

Summary: An excellent trip from start to finish! The apartment is really well located and has everything to make your stay here as comfortable as possible. Communication with the owner is 5* and I’m sure if you had any issues (which we did not) they would be resolved immediately. Several restaurants and the Sherpa supermarket are a matter of minutes from the door. Last but not least….the sunsets!! I don’t think there is a better spot in Avoriaz from where to witness the spectacular sunsets than the balcony of this apartment. Hopefully will return here next season. Would absolutely recommend.

Summary: Really enjoyed our stay in this property. We have stayed in Avoriaz in Winter for around 5 years in total and this property is definitely one of our favourites. Pros: Perfect location for ski school, ski in / out, restaurants, shops and parking. Everything needed inside the apartment. Great communication with owner, very efficient arrival process. Cons: a little small, but frankly, almost every apartment in Avoriaz is on the small side. We felt it was good value for the size. If you want bigger, be prepared to pay significantly more or be in a worse location. No oven in kitchen - but a 4 ring hob is available. Apartments ski lockers are non-heated, so lots of people loudly wearing their ski boots in the halls and above in the morning - but it is very quiet at night so fine for us. Overall: would definitely stay in this apartment again.

Summary: This studio is in great order and in a very convenient location for both getting on the pistes and walking into town for shopping and evenings out. What helped even more was the superb responsiveness and helpfulness of the hosts. This made our stay as easy as we could have hoped. Would happily come back.

Summary: The apartment is very small but it is also very cosy. It really only provides the essentials but it is very well situated with all amenities ‘a stone’s throw’ away. One can ski out from the ski locker room straight onto the Proclou piste – a broad easy blue, ideal for your morning warm-up. The apartment has a lovely private balcony with unobstructed panoramic views of the Alps. The wi-fi is slow by contemporary standards but we had no problem streaming Netflix on the ‘smart’ TV. Overall the apartment represents very good value for money and we would stay there again.

Summary: Fantastic base. Everything you need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Unbelievable sunsets and views of the mountains. Easy access to ski hire and lifts, supermarket and bars etc. We really enjoyed staying here. Family with 2 kids under 12.

Summary: Excellent appartment for a weeks stay in falaise area of Avoriaz. Originally booked for two people but ended up with four in the appartment. Extra bedding was supplied on request with no extra charge. Great location, ski in, ski out, right beside drop of area for transfer buses and close to supermarket and hire shops. Nicely decorated snd provisioned apartment and very good communication from owner. Five star!! Oh and a view to wake up to for the rest of your life from balcony!
