Positive: The property itself was really lovely. Well laid out in a lovely quiet area with plenty of space for 4 and a lovely outside space.
Negative: Unfortunately there were a few things that let it down. Sadly on our first morning the fridge freezer broke and all our food went off. The owner brought us a tiny table top fridge, which of course was fine at short notice, but promised to reimburse us for the food we had lost, we never heard from them again. The standard of cleanliness was not up to par. There were masses of cobwebs in the shower/bathroom areas and in most rooms. Under the beds was empty packets and lots of leaves and dust that clearly hadn’t been hoovered or checked for a while. Under the leather sofa in the sitting room was again lots of dust that hadn’t been cleaned for a while. The shower in the en-suite dripped constantly so was quite annoying at night. It’s a shame because it is a gorgeous little property but the maintenance and cleaning was not great.
Summary: Lovely property but in need of some extra cleaning and maintenance to bring it back up to standard.

Positive: The accommodation was to a high standard and the welcome was exceptional. We used the Cow Shed as a base for our family mini break with lots of days out around Dorset within an hour (many much closer). Really great village location and a wonderful place to stay with the bonus of two parking spaces and two (lovely) bathrooms. Just wonderful!
Negative: Nothing comes to mind - we had a fabulous time.
Summary: Lovely accommodation!
