The yard has a long deck that allows for quiet walks along the lake, boarding a party barge and fishing. Additionally, a huge fenced playground for dogs. Events are not allowed without a $500 non refundable deposit. All events must be planned and approved 1 month in advance. An event is considered anything over 7 visitors. This property promotes relaxation and peace.
More info: The estate is like a small neighborhood with only 3 houses. Everyone has their own private areas and has access and views of the lake. It is extremely quiet, comfortable and safe. Sounds of nature are super relaxing. There is a floating deck for parking of boats. A huge dog playground, kennel dog beds, bowls, toys and more. Many have referred to this unique location as utopia, a slice of heaven and a destination place. There are outside propane heaters, BBQ pit and patio furniture. The pond in the front is clean and fully stocked with 3 types of fish.

Summary: This is a cute little cottage, situated in a private area behind a security gate. I spent quite a bit of time there alone and felt safe, which was important to me. My only complaint is that the house was not clean. I picked up several hairballs and washed all the towels, dishes and pots and pans before I used any of them because they did not feel clean to me. The house smelled strongly of bleach and cleaning products when I arrived, the cleaning service had been there, they just didn't wash the dishes, dust or clean the floors. I brought my own sheets and changed the beds when I got there. I'm glad I did.....considering. Lots of food was left in cabinets and refrigerators by previous guests. Lots of spices and condiments in the kitchen. Although I brought my own, that is a nice touch for those who don't. The area is quiet and lovely to watch the "bayou life". The owner called me a few days after I arrived home and profusely apologized for the lack of cleanliness in the home. She was away before I arrived and had not seen the condition of the house from previous long-term guests. She was very gracious, voluntarily gave me a rebate of some of the fees. Mosts hosts would not have volunteered. She gets big bonus points from me for that!Overall, I would recommend this home to anyone who needs a cozy, quiet, safe place to stay while you're in Shreveport. It's away from city for a country feel, but close enough to be convenient to stores and restaurants.

Summary: House has a great layout, and it was clean. Would have liked to have showers in both bathrooms. Would have enjoyed the outside area more if it were more like the pictures. Kitchen was great With nice appliances.

Summary: A buddy and I were in town for a Bassmasster kayak tournament on Caddo. The property was perfect. Clean and modern. Good parking for the truck and trailer. Outside outlets to charge batteries. And in a great area that we never felt uncomfortable leaving the trailer behind while we went to town to grab food. Would definitely stay here again!!

Summary: We really enjoyed the property - quiet and scenic. Unfortunately Shreveport lacked things to do for us. We found some good places to eat and enjoyed the time with friends. Recommend doing research on things to do to ensure they are really open when you plan to visit them.
