Cozy up to the crackling fire pit situated in the dream-like secret garden. The garden is completely secured with a privacy fence too, so you can feel safe allowing the kids and critters to roam free. This space is absolutely perfect for creating memories with loved ones. Don't snooze on snagging this ideal getaway for your Denver vacation.
The Space:
This charming home is tucked away behind a beautiful front yard, private patio and privacy fence. Big shade trees, beautiful gardens and plenty of sun too! Features an open floor plan with a large master bedroom with office space and a huge walk-in closet, as well as vaulted ceilings. In the front area of the home, guests will find the front foyer, den and dining area. The second bedroom is located around the corner from the dining area. The bedroom has a Queen bed & has large closet. Between the two bedrooms is the laundry area with a new washer and a dryer. The kitchen is located next to the dining area and is equipped with everything one would need for making a home cooked meal. The dining room includes a large table perfect for family and friend dinners. Last but not least, the family room is spacious and includes a pull out couch, while we supply plenty of comfy pillows and blankets.

Can't beat this location as we are located right down the street from Sloan's Lake and moments from downtown. Less than 5 minute drive into the heart of the city and nestled in between all of the up and coming neighborhoods of Highlands and Tennyson. Conveniently located right off the I70 corridor and you’re on your way to Colorado's breathtaking Rocky Mountains.
Getting Around:
Walk to Sloan's Lake and the Highlands. 3 miles to downtown Denver & Tennyson St shops are close by too. The area is full of restaurants, brew pubs, coffee shops, & boutique shopping. Minutes to grocery, library, and public transportation. For those who do not have their own car, I recommend utilizing Lyft or Uber. There is also a few community share programs for cars, such as Turo and Car2Go.

Summary: This place is so rundown and dirty that I can’t believe they listed it and have positive reviews. After driving 10 hours, we were met with a very shady, rundown exterior with tree limbs, leaves, and broken gates. The inside of the home was COVERED in dog or cat hair, and we had to find a vacuum and give it a pass before sitting anywhere. The shower is a mold nightmare and has water damage showing that there’s not a proper water barrier under the tile or tub. My son was afraid to sleep in his bed because there was dirt and animal hair, so we washed before unpacking. Miserable experience when expecting a relatively “comfortable” experience. Oh, and the electrical outlets are dodgy and WiFi is incredibly slow. Do not stay here unless you’re just looking for a motel-type experience.

Summary: Good: location is great, quiet neighborhood, nice home. Easy to access and the house had a nice list of “Things to do” for out of towners. Bad: the owner needs to go through and give this property some attention. There are very few plates and only one bowl in the kitchen. Many of the lamps either don’t work or are super finicky. The frame for the master bed is bent so significantly that the right side of the bed has a huge dip to it. The dishwasher doesn’t work on a regular setting, one of the stovetop burners doesn’t work. The place was dusty and not well cleaned and when we arrived (12/9) the heat was off and the house was at 46 degrees. This place should be better than this.

Summary: The location was good - close to Sloan Lake neighborhood. The online photos did not reflect the wear and tear of the house. The kitchen was really beat up. Old stove, missing pulls on old cabinets. Not enough place settings, glasses, bowl, etc for four people to sit down and have a meal. Three coffee makers - which was odd. The beds were comfortable. The biggest issue was the HVac system which was incredibly loud and switched on and off every 20 minutes all through the night disrupting sleep all night throughout our stay. Comfortable living room couch but something was wrong with the TV and the sound and snapped and crackled. With some minor investment in the kitchen this could be a decent place, but as is, it was a relief to check out.

Summary: This comfy quiet place was just right. We were in Denver for a Rockies game. The light rail station was easy to get to. Convenient to stores and a great breakfast place. We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: Very clean and newly updated cottage in a convenient west side location. Very near beautiful Sloan Lake, for dog walkers and joggers! Best feature is lovely enclosed patio with glorious trees, perfect for coffee in the morning and wine at night. Decor was typical grey contemporary style. All in all, a decent place. Bed had great mattress but squeaky and cheap platform. House in general was not well equipped with a minimum of dishes and glassware and none of the sundry items you expect (scissors, pens and pencils, cork screw, matches). Outdoor lighting in the garden bower would have been much appreciated.

Summary: This property is only 4-5 blocks from Sloanes Lake. The neighborhood offers restaurants, grocery stores, a Target even a dog park on Sheridan and 70. The lake offers pickniking, scenic neighborhoods and a great view of the Eastern slope and foothills; very convenient. Across from the Lake are great restaurants.

Summary: On arrival there was a very strong headache inducing lysol spray scent. We found a half chewed bone under the couch and a dirty sock under the coffee table in the living room. There was also a nail coming out of the flooring that we had to remove for safety from our dogs. In the yard, there was old dog poop in the sitting area, and the other open grass area was overgrown (gardeners did show up unannounced the next day to mow the grass and pick weeds so that helped). On the day of check out, I took the sheets off the primary bed to start laundry and found the mattress with blood stains at the head of the bed and large yellow stains all over the rest of it. It was truly a dirty house that needs updates and a serious deep clean and new mattress. I would not recommend this rental to anyone. Luckily I was not in the home often during my stay, only to sleep. I contacted the rental company on arrival and notified them of the sock and dog bone, and called them today after finding the state of the mattress. They are supposed to call me back, but I am still waiting to hear from them.
