Summary: We had a great time, and this is in a good location. We took a short walk to Harvard and enjoyed that area. The room is very minimal, but nice people and clean bathrooms.

Summary: Both beds were extremely uncomfortable and caused me a lot of pain making it very hard to sleep. The kitchen was messy with leftover food sitting out the entire time. Nothing there was ever cleaned. In the bathroom there was consistently water all over the place which suggests it was not cleaned either during my stay. There were tons of dust under the beds in my room. When checking out I asked the receptionist how often the rooms were cleaned. He said before any guest arrives. I told him about the dust and he fluffed me off by telling me that that can be overlooked. Not worth the low price or proximity to transit.

Summary: Had more of a 'hostel' vibe than a hotel (e.g., we had a shared bathroom, although there were several available at any given time). bed was a bit soft. Location was terrific (9 minute walk from the T). We got one of the limited onsite parking spots (reasonably priced at $10/day), but I could see this being an issue. If you have issues with mobility, it might pose a problem since there is no elevator.

Summary: I didn’t read the reviews when I booked the Farrington . Everything else was so expensive! The woman a the front desk was nice , and offered us a better room for an extra $20 a night - and this room would have a private bathroom . So we said yes and then she took us to the separate apartment building . The building is definitely run down and creepy. What we did get was an entire apartment. It was old but clean . But still kinda more creepy than good . Clean sheets . Also one must pick up Towels and toilet paper from the reception area . It was still an expensive room - I thought - for what it was . I would not stay here again . It was basic and okay but I was actually not thrilled to be there at all .
