Positive: The inn is an old coaching house and has all the quaintness you could ask for. We were able to park on-site very easily and there is additional parking a short stroll away. The bedroom was comfortable and cosy with the biggest, softest towels I think I have ever had in an hotel. We had travelled with friends and were situated next door to one another as requested. The breakfast was lovely; freshly cooked and with plenty of choice on the buffet too. We also had dinner at the inn and again there was plenty of choice. The inn seemed very popular with local families having Sunday lunch which I feel is a good sign of a great venue.
Negative: If I'm going to be really picky, a little extra space in the room would have been nice but it is an old coaching inn.
Summary: Friendly and welcoming venue, serving great food and drink with comfy rooms.

Positive: Beautiful room, amazing food. Such a lovely quiet retreat for 24 hours!! Staff were lovely. The breakfast was really impressive too. Nespresso machine and big selection of teas and coffees in the room with fresh milk. We stayed in the fletching room which is in the main pub. There are also outbuildings that you can stay in too.
Negative: I wish I could have stayed longer.
Summary: Beautiful peaceful cosy stay.

Negative: More info re history of inn and village would be nice. Lighting in bedroom quite dark. More vegetables included in dinner dishes please.

Negative: For the price we paid I think it was over priced . A few faults with the room , towel rail on toilet foot was broken , holes had been filled in the toilet but not painted over with correct colour .
