Summary: The property was ok you get what it says on the Tin Stay was fine people were friendly and someone go to sleep with parking. Lovely location to go for walks had a good stay.

Summary: This was a one night stay on our way to Edinburgh with our dogs. It was exactly what we needed a comfortable, clean and well equipped room right next to a lovely pub that is also dog friendly. Sonia and the team couldn't do enough for us, fetching water for our dogs after a long journey. Asking if we had everything we needed. We had a good meal that night and a lovely breakfast the following morning. Such a friendly place, we will definitely be back!

Summary: Stayed for 1 night in the stables as a single female. The accommodation is an add on to the pub Royal Oak next door. The room was clean and a good size, what was really impressive was the facilities- a microwave with plates/cutlery, toaster, washing up equipment, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and a fridge. There was a child’s play area across the road. Horses in the next field lovely area. Went to the pub for tea. Staff gave a warm welcoming, food was lovely and very reasonably priced. I had booked a room only but given the lovely evening meal decided I would have breakfast before checking out, again a lovely breakfast with a good selection of options. Would happily stay again if I’m in the area.

Summary: It was lovely. We were well looked after. The staff and locals were friendly. The Stables were a row of Butlin’s style chalets. It was perfectly set up for self catering with a fridge, toaster and microwave.

Summary: Rather run down. A really unpleasant smell in the room with lots of strong air fresheners. I couldn't have slept there.

Summary: Very nice country pub with friendly locals. Accommodation did what was needed for an overnight stay. Pet friendly which is what we wanted.
