Positive: location and surroundings were amazing, really quirky accommodation with loads of character. Plenty of birds to watch and listen to, just outside the forest proper but only a short drive from all the hotspots like mallards pike symonds yat and cannop ponds
Negative: as we had all come from several locations we had 3 cars with us and this meant we had nowhere outside to sit [as we had to use it as additional parking] the enclosed garden had an opening at one end which meant it was not suitable to let the dog run free... kitchen/lounge floor exceptionally squeaky [ so any early risers woke those sleeping below]
Summary: cant wait to go back!!

Positive: the location was fabulous, did take sometime to find it, but that was mainly due to weather and how late it was to get to the house.
Negative: a late check in at 17.00, would of been nice bit earlier.

Positive: What a gem Real homemade from home everything you need and want from a cottage holiday. Made to feel welcome from the start and a great relaxing ideal place and location . Really comfortable and homely.

Positive: This accommodation is exceptional, beautifully decorated, perfectly kitted out with everything you could need. Lovely touches such as welcome packs with tea, coffee and fresh flowers. Dog was also well catered for with own towels, Poo bags and food and water bowls. The enclosed garden is great for the dog to run about. Water pressure in shower is fantastic.
Negative: Hard to think of anything , maybe the hill back up from the pub in Woolaston! Maybe another shower over bath would be good with 6 adults.

Positive: The property was immaculate and the rooms comfortable and generously sized. The boot room was perfect for drying wet weather gear also. The walled field was ideal for exercising our dog too. All the facilities were first rate.
Negative: The only slight hiccup was the intermittent internet connection.

Positive: The place is beautiful and very nicely decorated. Really quiet location, very well heated and nice basket with teas and coffees , biscuits and eggs on arrival.
Negative: Stripping the beds on leaving, I haven't really had to do this at other accommodation.
