Also, it is across a neighborhood street from Laurel Creek and the new Laurel Creek Park, so you can enjoy the sound of the old gristmill waterfall while you relax on the front porch or walk over to say hello to the ducks! On Saturday mornings, there is a Farmer's Market in the park where you will find local produce, meats, eggs, baked goods, craft items, and more.
The house is spacious and renovated with updates including stainless steel appliances and a large, tiled ensuite with two glass sinks, a roomy shower, and a sliding barn door. Summary: We had a great stay at The Duck House! We enjoyed being close to the park and downtown. We rode the Virginia Creeper Trail from Whitetop to Damascus and had beautiful weather. It was nice coming back from riding our bikes to stay at The Duck House. We could easily bike to and from the bike shuttle location to the house. Our hosts David and Michelle were very helpful, communicative, and made us feel welcome. Thank you!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. We have been coming to Damascus to enjoy the Creeper Trail for over 8 years. We’ve always thought the Duck house was so cute. This was our first time to stay there and it is very cute. We would definitely consider staying there again.
