Positive: My recent stay at The Shepherds Hut was absolutely wonderful. The host set the tone with excellent communication, clear directions, and thoughtful welcome touches like chocolates and bubbles — a real delight after traveling. The Hut itself was immaculate, spotlessly clean to an exceptional standard, and perfectly equipped for a short, restful getaway. Privacy is assured, the surrounding views are simply breathtaking, and although I didn’t use the hot tub, its presence added a real sense of luxury. This place strikes the perfect balance between comfort and charm, and I’m already looking forward to returning in the future. Highly recommended!

Positive: The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we found the location and had everything we needed—even leaving us a thoughtful Christmas gift! The accommodation was spotless and tidy, and it was already warm when we arrived (thank you for that!). Everything was absolutely perfect. The location is fantastic—peaceful and private, yet not too remote. It offers the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. The hot tub was a highlight; it kept us cozy while we admired the stars in the crisp night air. A truly wonderful experience, looking to book again at some point in the future!

Positive: The hot tub was good and clean. The hot tub was locked at 40.0 which is a bit too hot. The bed was comfortable. The hosts left us a bottle of prosecco and a box of roses.
Negative: There was dust on the TV stand, either mould or dirt on the front door,dust under the bed along with crisp packet and what looked like a dog's chew toy.
