Summary: I booked a deluxe king and after checking in and getting to the room, I was placed in a double queen. When I called down to reception, I was told I didn’t book a deluxe king and they didn’t have any available. I double checked my booking and receipt, both of which said “deluxe king”. Then I waited in the lobby for my son to pick me up for dinner and listened to reception upgrade 2 different people checking in to a deluxe king room. I stay here every time I visit my kids in CStat and have never been let down or disappointed, but this trip was both.

Summary: The Stella was just ok for me. The room was clean, and the bathroom was definitely upscale, but the furnishings were a bit worn, with stains on the marble countertops, buttons missing (and rusting) on the ottoman, and the sides and corners of furniture banged up. We also did not get maid service after the first night, and had to request it for the other days. We got a suite, which was large, but there was no microwave, and only a tiny fridge. The hotel is kind of in the middle of nowhere, with only a couple of restaurants nearby. The room service menu was very limited, as well.
