Welcome to The Studio located on the 3rd floor of the historic Northville Records Building. This location is ideal: quietly and secretly situated at the center of historic Downtown Northville. The building is at the northwest corner of Main and Center Streets. The building once housed the Northville Records which was the areas source for news and advertising. Today, the building has a few commercial tenants including Brandt Real Estate. The studio apartment was completely updated a few years ago making it more functional with full bathroom, complete kitchen and laundry facilities, and independent comfort control inside the studio. We went with a rustic modern style, opened the space, added skylights and other enhancements. This studio apartment is the only residential space in the building, making it quite unique and more peaceful especially during evening and nighttime hours.

Summary: Nicely appointed 3rd floor apartment with plenty of light on two sides, excellent location right on Northville's main street, in a charming old building with authentic classic design. Modern and generously equipped kitchen, all new appliances (bathroom too), and full laundry makes it a place you can live in for along stay, very easily. Well thought out decorations, too. Note the bed is a fold-down style, so is lower to the floor than most, and it's parallel to a wall, so for two people, the person on the wall-side of the bed would have to climb over the person further from the wall, or have them get out of bed first.

Summary: Very charming 3rd floor loft in the heart of downtown Northville, they did a great job keeping a lot of it's historic features while cleaning it up to be modern. The first set of stairs were pretty steep almost like ladder, not at all a problem for us, but could be for some. Coming from a king the bed was small but was a comfy memory foam mattress. I would absolutely stay again!

Summary: As the title states, the location is amazing. Right in downtown Northville within a quarter block from dining, bars, and shopping. Any time I visit the Detroit Metro area this will be the first option I will look up for a stay.

Summary: A recurring work trip for me, but first time in this location. While there's steep steps to get to the 3rd floor loft - this means no neighbors above or next to you! Wonderfully equipped modern kitchen and super tidy modern bathroom. I like to sleep with white noise so the HVAC fan was a welcome sound. Never tried the TV but seems ample entertainment tech for those who desire it. Will plan to stay again!

Summary: I lived not far from downtown Northville for 40 years so it was nice to find this gem of a place right in downtown Northville for our visit! We loved the decorating and it was very clean and fully stocked with everything you need. The 2 flights of stairs are a bit of a challenge especially if you have a lot of luggage. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PERSONS 60+ YEARS OLD - 2 FLIGHTS OF VERY STEEP AND NARROW STAIRS PLUS BED ON FLOOR. This is a lovely apartment in downtown Northville - you couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s spacious, clean and had everything we needed. I would stay here again and again if it weren’t for the stairs 😞.
