Narragansett - just minutes from the beaches - Narragansett Town Beach & Scarborough Beach.
This is our third summer hosting and the pleasure has definitely been ours. We have already met numerous wonderful people. Our aim is to make your stay as easy and as pleasurable as possible with an emphasis on catering to your unique needs.
Don’t tell anybody, but we've been known to allow our guests to stay as late as they'd like on check-out day, provided that we don't have guests booked to arrive that same day.
Essentially, we have been fully booked with very positive feedback. We are thankful to each of our guests for making this a successful and enjoyable endeavor.
A couple of side notes in the feedback department:
Interestingly, the mattress in the master has been found particularly comfortable for several of our guests.
Additionally, we put a premium on CLEAN. Each of our guests have taken note of our efforts and been particularly appreciative of our high standards. If by chance we miss a spot please feel free to point it out - if you don’t mind the interruption, we will take care of it ASAP.
We have only recently completed much of our interior renovations with you in mind - aiming to make things aesthetically pleasing, as comfortable as possible, and conducive to just relaxing when enjoying the ocean, exploring or visiting family/friends.
We’re still working on the exterior and will continue to improve that as we are able. Rest assured though that things are ready for you and we’ll do everything we can to ensure that your time here is as we would want it ourselves.
The interior is filled with natural light during the day. To give you an idea of the layout - walking in the front door you'll be in the living room where there is a comfortable leather couch and love seat and plenty of room to relax. Just a few steps away is the main level 1/2 bath and laundry access. The kitchen is to the right with a dine-in table for up to six, new stainless-steel appliances, and all the needs for home cooking. [We will gladly provide any additional items that you discover you need].
For your pleasure we have all of the following:
Keurig
Conventional drip coffee maker
Rapid heating electric tea kettle
Microwave
Toaster
Brita Water Pitcher
Beethoven the fish & his two entertaining snail buddies.
On the second floor are two good size bedrooms with a queen bed in each and window a/c units available during warmer weather. All linens. blankets, pillows and towels are provided.
The main bath is centrally located. It has a beautifully tiled tub shower and granite vanity/porcelain sink.
The home is located in a quiet neighborhood. We have a large yard surrounded by trees. At the end of our street is the picturesque Narrow River.
It's only 5 minutes to the ocean. It's a scenic 8 minute drive to the Narragansett Town Beach and well traversed seawall. Drive another 7 minutes and you’ll be at Scarborough State Beach. Our family is split regarding our favorite beach - we welcome your vote to tip the scales.
Several conveniences are very close by: CVS, Walgreens, Cumberland Farms, Dunkin’ Donuts, as well as gas stations. We also have a couple of fresh farm produce providers.
Grocery stores, Fed Ex, Dollar Tree and an assortment of dining options are less than 15 mins away.
The property is owner occupied with an attached separate house. The host is friendly and hospitable - will be readily available for needs that may arise, concerns, directions and recreational ideas. Feel free to reach out.

Summary: The interior of this property was one of the cleanest and neatest at which we have ever stayed as was shown in the photos. Very comfortable. The hosts were helpful, accommodating and welcoming. The exterior (which was not shown on the listing) unfortunately needed to be cleaned up. The access path was nearly blocked by an overgrown bush and a pile of old mulch was at the front of our parking space. There was really no area for appealing outdoor seating. Although the neighborhood was neat and quiet, this exterior of this property was not as well maintained as its neighbors. The hosts were so nice, it is difficult to say anything negative, but guests need to know what the outside looks like.

Summary: This 2 BR 1.5 bath condo was a great selection for our family's stay in Narragansett. The place is very clean; beds are comfortable; and kitchen is extremely well-stocked. Truly it is a home away from home. We met the host Jaye and she was very thoughtful and generous. I highly recommend this location.

Summary: If you wanna stay in vacation rental where you have a lot of communication, face-to-face, and via text messaging with your host then this is the place for you! The owner, Jaye, lives next-door and is always willing to give a recommendation or to hook you up with any needed supplies that are missing. The walk down to the river is nice and the neighborhood is quiet.

Summary: I can't say enough about Alyson and Jaye. Despite a hiccup with vrbo they went above and beyond to make everything right. They made sure our weekend went smoothly, thanks to them it did. From ensuring we were all set with house to giving great information on restaurants and local events, they were a fabulous host. The house was clean and had everything we needed. I will definitely book with them again.

Summary: We rented this duplex to beat the holiday traffic and get one last vacation in before school started. The hosts were very warm and accommodating. We just needed a place to lay our head and get in a little bit work and lots of play.

Summary: Perfect spot to stay for our URI move-in. Jaye is a gracious host and communicated everything we needed to know throughout our stay. I didn’t realize I needed to bring bath towels as they are not provided, but she was kind enough to lend some to us. Extremely accommodating, thank you.
