The property is located within our small vineyard which in turn is located within a plot of land (owned by others), in the splendid Alcantara Valley. An ideal place to spend holidays in direct contact with nature and away from chaos and stress. The area is isolated and there are no houses nearby but it is located just 900 meters from the center of the town of Gaggi. Excellent starting point for excursions to the tourist locations in the area. (Taormina, Giardini Naxos, Aeolian Islands, Catania, Syracuse etc) or for beautiful walks (trekking) in the midst of nature (Rocche dell'Argimusco, Bosco di Malabotta, Etna Park, Alcantara River Park). Furthermore, less than an hour's drive away you can visit beautiful villages, one above all Montalbano Elicona elected the most beautiful village in Italy in 2015. If you are passionate about wine you can have tastings in the most prestigious Sicilian wineries located on the slopes of Etna along the road that leads to the medieval village of Randazzo with its numerous churches.
The structure consists of a small cottage (two-room) equipped with all the comforts to make your stay pleasant. The bedroom is air conditioned with a double bed and a bunk bed, the eat-in and equipped kitchen is equipped with electric paddle ventilation. The furnishings are simple but functional.
In the summer period you can use the above ground swimming pool and the solarium. (June-September)
Upon arrival you will be gifted with a bottle of my own wine.

Since the access road to the cottage is unpaved, cars with very low trim (sports cars) are not recommended. With cars with normal trim it can be driven without problems.

Summary: A small and simple house with the most beautiful location in the middle of the vineyard. The house contains everything you need and appeared very clean. The host Francesco is a very friendly and helpful person, with tips and information about the area, and supplier of fresh eggs, tomatoes, wine etc. The house also includes Rocky and Giacomina, an older dog and a cheeky but sweet cat, they live on the grounds , but suits itself. The area is located with a breathtaking view of the mountains, close to Etna, and close to the coast and the beautiful city of Taormina. The weather was beautiful and the pool was frequently used and regularly cleaned by Francesco. Summary, a fantastic stay that we can highly recommend and to which we would like to return.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this property. It's a convenient location, but away from the crowds. We really enjoyed the vineyards surrounding the home, and the kind treatment from our hosts, who offered us a bottle of their wine!

Summary: This charming, simple house is set in the foothills of Etna surrounded by lush vineyards, olive & citrus groves. It's a great location for visiting Taormina and the coast as well as venturing up the Alcantara valley & villages beyond. Our hosts Francesco and Giovanna were welcoming and helpful, recommending places to visit. But it rained ... and rained. We didn't see Etna at all until our third day. So, be warned, late June in Sicily can feel much like England in April. We'd recommend this little house in Gaggi to anyone who likes to get away from it all for a while.

Summary: Giovanna and Francesco is a very vriendly and helpfull couple. They did all the things to make our stay very pleasant. They give good information, fruit, wine and vegetables from their own garden. We felt a warm welcome the whole week and is was a pity to leave this beautiful spot away from the crowd with a nice vieuw at the Etna. And their is enough space outside to sit in the shade as to lay down in the sun and to refresh in the swimmingpool. So we thank you both for the oppertunity that we could meet you and stay at your villa.

Summary: Lovely house set among vineyards and olive groves .If it's total peace and quiet and relaxation you are looking for then this is the place .It is set about 500metres along an unmade road so a car is essential .Giovanna and Francesco are excellent hosts and we were made to feel very welcome .SIcilian People are very warm and welcoming and we were invited to dinner with their Family and friends which was a very enjoyable evening .There are many activities near to the property and further afield including Mt Etna and various Coastal towns within easy reach via the motorway which is free except for a nominal toll to Cantania . We really enjoyed our stay in Sicily and look forward to returning in the future Thankyou for a really enjoyable break

Summary: Giovanna and Francesco were the perfect They patiently attended to us after our flight was delayed. We received home grown tomatoes and a bottle of wine (A product of the vineyard that flanks the house). They also invited us for dinner, where we experienced great Sicilian food and hospitality. The house is well equipped and very clean. It's perfectly located, away from the hussle and bussle but still close enough to access it easily. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Ciao

Summary: We've stayed at this villa in March 2016 for three days and were very happy about the experience. The house was equipped with everything you need. Jovanna and Francesco were really helpful and answered all the questions about the area. They gave us a bottle of the wine made from their own grapes and that was really pleasant. Can gladly recommend this rental to the couples. As for the families I found that the bedroom though it has bunk bed for two kids would be too crowded for 4 people. Overall the farm was really nice and we would rent it again. Anna

Summary: This villa is located in midst of a beautiful family owned vineyard and a garden which supplied fresh fruit and vegetables during our one week stay. The location is quiet although not too far from the town of Gaggi. The final 200 meters of the road is gravel but easily navigated with the estate car we had rented. The D´Angelo family provided good instructions to reach Gaggi and met us there to escort us to the property. We felt very welcome, relaxed and comfortable at this villa. We mostly cooked our own meals and the kitchen was very well suited for this. The bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed for two. The family occasionally worked the vineyard and the garden but respected our privacy and we never felt uncomfortable with this. Two dogs stay in a cage on the property but were amazingly quiet and amicable creatures. We never ran out of hot water and the water pressure in the shower was good. In late June some mosquitos were present. We had anticipated this and came equipped with repellent but never needed to use any countermeasures beyond keeping the doors closed. Gaggi is perfectly located to explore the east coast of Sicily as well as the Alcantara river valley and the mountains beyond. We will certainly book this villa again if we ever come to Sicily again.

Summary: The house is a beautiful place. Located very private and calm in the middle of a vineyard it is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sicilian sun and the view on Etna. If you search for a quiet place, this casa is the right place to stay. We had such a pleasure just watching the lizards and geckos while having dinner on the terrace. It is also a good starting point for tours around the Etna region and the Alcántara valley. The hosts, Francesco and Giovanna, are very kind, amiable and welcoming. They gave us some helpful recommendations on what to do and what to see in the area. We enjoyed our stay very much and recommend the casa as well as the wonderful hosts.
