Summary: It started well with a very warm welcome on arrival and a hostess who had a good sense of humour which is always a bonus for me with my humour. She was friendly and showed where the room was rather than just giving directions... I was there for the one night and the room was very comfortable and has all you need in it and you could stay a couple of days comfortably. The breakfast in the morning although had to be paid for, was affordable and very nice. If I happen to be in the area again I would stay again.

Summary: We like the fact dogs are welcome in this hotel . The room was comfortable and clean. We met family in the bar and had a lovely evening and breakfast is great!

Summary: Nice Hotel , nice room. Very clean which was amazing. The Hotel needs renovation but for the price overall is ok. Staff friendly, great location . Very pleased with the stay

Summary: Nice old pub great landlord, food very good. 3 real ales kept well. Room was very big , bathroom nice. But could of been cleaned better, urine stains down front of toilet and not cleaned under seat. Over areas were in need of a deep clean.

Summary: Staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful, although they were busy. We had a lot on so slept soundly but it is a fun, lively, busy pub, travellers who need an early night might struggle in the external rooms

Summary: a good stop off place, clean and friendly staff. A little noisy at night, but it was Friday and in the centre of town very good breakfast 👍

Summary: Very comfortable clean room above a pub. Nice bed nice sized room very reasonably priced. Car park though busy had spaces both times I needed them. Bit of advice, book taxi's ahead of time and share the cost if attending Clock barn for a wedding. ££ taxi and long waits.
