Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The location is isolated from stores and restaurants, which is what we were looking for. It's a simple 50ft walk to the beach! Looking through large windows in the living room you'll have view of Haystack Rock in Pacific City, you can't beat that! The Totem itself is cool!

Negative: Though the place seems clean, the basement is musty and smelled of urine, bedding was old, deck hand rails are not safe, and some furniture was broken. It is a well-used rental that hasn't been updated in decades. The kitchen is bizarre, though there are enough cooking implements. Interacting with Meredith Lodging was absolutely frustrating! Not a single request was met with any understanding. Evidently CATS ARE NOT PETS which is buried in the fine print of a dozen page agreement you get sent after booking! Most of which doesn't even apply to the specific listing. On top of that, trying to get a left behind hearing aid was met with confusing and process where if you were talking to a proper host it would have been in the mail the next day! AVOID MEREDITH IF YOU CAN!

Summary: Great location, nice living room, everything else was lackluster or downright frustrating.
