Summary: Dany and her family are great hosts! They were always very responsive and helpful, explained how to get around the area and had many tips for us. When our car broke down Dany just lend us their car to get around until we found a new rental - this was amazing and basically saved us our vacation!! We spend relaxing days in the house and in southern France and enjoyed the garden and the pool very much! Thank you for hosting us!

Summary: Mas Ballot situated 8 kilometers east of Arles provides a perfect accommodation for our family of 6. Fitted with antique furniture in local provincial style it provides plenty of room even for bigger parties and makes you feel at home immediately. Dany and Claude Suc as nice and helpful hosts supplied information about places to go not only on their well structured website and assorted leaflets available in the dining room, but also in their very warm welcome and personal conversations. In the kitchen you find everything to prepare nice meals and the dishwasher helps to make them even more enjoyable. The living room invites for relaxing autumn evenings with a fire crackling and the good internet connection enables you to send your holiday impressions directy to your loved ones at home. A perfect place for relaxing holidays and being back in Germany we already think about coming back...

Summary: The hosts are so nice and accommodating. The gite is well equipped and most inviting. The beds are comfortable, there's a great fireplace to make the living area cozy on cool evenings. The arbor-covered exterior dining area is delightful. There were flowering trees and bushes everywhere, perfuming the air with the scents of spring. The location is wonderful for visiting all of Provence. We hated to leave and hope to return for a longer visit!

Summary: Mas Ballot is a comfortable spacious house, quietly situated on the edge of the small town of Raphele les Arles. There is an authentic Provencal feel to the house which is furnished with everything we needed for a weeks stay in early March.The wood burning fire in the lounge was a real treat in the chilly evenings. On sunny days the french doors leading out onto various patio areas were well used and later in the season I'm sure the gardens would be a very relaxing place to spend some time. My daughters loved having the horses and a donkey nearby to help feed and I loved having the use of the bicycles which were great fun to ride to the bakers in the mornings. Claude and Dany were very welcoming hosts always willing to answer any questions we had about the area. They were also happy to accept our own currency [sterling] as the security deposit. Highly recommended!

Summary: We enjoyed a week's stay at this delightful Provencal home. The 'hosts' were lovely, they live next door and were more than willing to answer any questions we had. We were 4 adults and 3 young children (aged 3, 16 months & 7 weeks!) and the place was great for a young family. Complete with travel cots, highchair, a few games and outdoor toys. There was also a horse, donkey & goats in the field nextdoor for the kids to visit. We enjoyed to log fire in the cool November evenings. There was lots to do in the area & we enjoyed being close to Arles yet more in the 'countryside'

Summary: This is a charming, quiet country house, not far from Arles. The couple that own the house are lovely people, easy to work with and very respectful of their guests needs. The house is beautifully furnished in French country style, comes with a pool, and is in a perfect spot if you like to take a walk or bike ride or run through the provencal countryside, or enjoy a bottle of French wine beneath a huge field of stars. You could even ask Claude, an enthusiastic astronomy buff, to show you the constellations or point his telescope at Saturn's rings. While the house is in the countryside, you are also within walking distance of three different bakeries and easy driving distance to Arles. Mas Ballot is extremely comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen, a large living room, dining room, and three bedrooms, one of which has a balcony. My family and I have stayed there three different times: in 2005, 2006, and 2009. The house and the location just seems to get better each time.
