Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Our studio style cottages are quiet, well appointed and comfortable. Step out your door and onto our onsite trails with views of the Cape Breton Highlands and Atlantic Ocean. We are a short drive along the Cabot Trail to Cape Smokey, Ingonish and Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Make our cottages your home away from home in beautiful Cape Breton. Our campus is located right on the Cabot Trail. We are less than a five minute walk through a private trail to the ocean and private lake. Our gardens are lush, grounds kept bright and clean and we're excited to have you stay with us. Free parking is available right at the doorstep of your cottage. You'll arrive and check in is a breeze. We are located 5km from a coffee shop and restaurant, 4km from a general store. There are artisan shops nearby and we are located 14km from the new Destination Cape Smokey. As you enter our cottage area, parking is located right in front of your cottage. We do have space for extra cars, so please just ask if you're travelling in more than one vehicle.

Summary: Well organized and well built cabin, about 75M off the highway, on a well maintained track, surrounded by a well maintained forest, with trails winding upwards beyond the appropriately spaced small group of cabins. So nice to arrive in the evening with the long winding ascent and descent over Cape Smokey left till the morning after breakfast.

Summary: Had a wonderful stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The gift of fresh eggs was unexpected but much appreciated and delicious. The cabin was cozy and had everything. Enjoyed the on site hiking trails and ocean access. 5 Stars all around.

Summary: Trailside cabins are set back from road, in a private setting. Interiors are spotlessly clean, efficient with everything you need, nicely decorated. Private access path to rocky ocean front. Very accomodating owners.
