Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lakefront cottage. Soak in the serene views, enjoy fishing from the dock or boat, relax in the 2 person hammock or feel cozy at the firepit by the lake. Our little friends can have a blast at the outdoor play structure which has swings, slide and rock climbing.
Home sits on a 26 acre Lake with lots of Bass & crappie fishing. 15 minutes to Gilmer for shopping, retail & restaurants. 35 minutes to Longview & 45 minutes to Tyler & 2hr to Dallas
Cozy Lakefront cottage with about 1200 sqft of living space. 2 Queen beds, 1 Queen bunk bed and a Twin bunk bed.

We love to hear from guests! Co-host, Meagan, is always quick to respond to questions.
The house is located in a neighborhood. There are houses closeby(about 50 ft away) on each side.
There are no leash regulations in the neighborhood and the neighborhood dogs roam freely. For the comfort of our guests and their pets, we are working on deterring the dogs from the front yard. The dogs are friendly but please do not feed or encourage them to stick around the property. There is a fenced backyard for the guests pets.
There is a circle driveway that allows for a few vehicles.
Inside fireplace is not for use.

Summary: We rented the house for the weekend as we had an event to attend. We brought the family and two small dogs. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The lake was very nice and although we didn’t have time to fish, it looks like a nice place to relax and catch a few. The fenced in yard was perfect for the dogs. We didn’t have to worry about them running off. There are neighbors nearby but we never saw or heard them. Restaurants aren’t far away in Gilmer either if you don’t feel like cooking. If you’re looking for a no frills type of place to stay, I’d definitely recommend it.

Summary: The locariom was great unless you wouldnlike to swim. This is not a swimming lake. We caught a lot of fish though. The backyard is good for pets but not great for kids. The playplace is very old and not as pictured. The dock area is not near as clean as the pictures. It is very grown up and not well kept. The house is cozy and pretty clean. Bring bug spray the mosquitos and flies are terrible! Overall, not a bad place to stay just be aware of previous info especially if you bring kids. Owners invited tree guys over during our stay and interrupted our vacation, but we spoke about it and hopefully it was a learning lesson. Thanks for letting us stay!

Summary: This is a great family-friendly and pet-friendly property! The house is darling and had all the comforts of home. The boys loved fishing off the pier. Quiet neighborhood. Lots of trees, birds and butterflies. Clear, timely and cordial communications with the owners and co-host.

Summary: This quaint property was just what we needed for the weekend. There was ample space and the proximity to the lake was amazing. We caught plenty of fish and the neighbors were awesome. There was a slight hiccup in the beginning because I arrived MUCH earlier than anticipated, but the owners and manager were MORE than accommodating. They jumped up at the drop of a dime to make sure we were accommodated, comfortable, and satisfied. Hands down, the best part of the trip was their communication and diligence. It’s was great doing business with such good people. They genuinely cared that we were happy. The only con was all of the scary, creepy crawling bugs. But as long as you don’t bother them, they won’t bother you. 🙃 Overall, we had a great trip and are already planning to revisit.

Summary: Excellent 👌 This was a clean cozy beautiful lakefront home.The house had everything we needed.They even provided a breakfast counter with coffee and snacks.We did not use the kayak because it was slightly cold there.The host communication was extremely helpful . Definitely recommend this to my friends and family.Will be back again soon
