This beautiful cabin is located just yards from the pristine waters of Lake Superior, the largest body of fresh water in the world.
The Area: Big Bay is a quaint little town nestled between the great waters of Lake Superior and Lake Independence known for its excellent fishing opportunities. The town features boating, canoeing, kayaking (rentals available at the local bait and tackle store in town), rustic bars and restaurants, gift shops, groceries, public beach and play ground on Lake Independence at Perkins Park, and all around good times. Local guides are available for a fishing excursions featuring Lake trout on Lake Superior, or fly fishing the serene Yellow Dog River. Waterfall tours are also available and are very popular. Big Bay is an all seasons town but really comes alive in the summer, most camps and cottages are used as summer retreats.
Surronnding Area: The city of Marquette is located 25 miles down the road from Big Bay and has all the amenities of a large town.
