Reserve this cute cottage as home-base for your tour of Lancaster County. Prepare meals in the modern kitchen while your children enjoy the backyard and swings. This country home has easy access to Route 222 and the PA Turnpike making it a quick drive from many attractions. Take in the farmland view from the backyard, or stroll to Springside chip-and-putt golf just up the road. Antiquing in Adamstown (the antique capital) is only 10 minutes away. Or go hiking and birdwatching at Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area.
Although there is no TV, free Wi-Fi is provided. Or unplug and enjoy the games anfireplace.
Notice: The stairs are classic (very steep). Those with poor balance should not plan on sleeping on the second story.
This is the prior home of a family on a Bible Translation project in Mexico. Enjoy their cozy home while supporting their mission!

Summary: My sisters and I came to the Lancaster area for a weekend get away. We enjoyed our stay at the Translators Cottage very much. It was very clean and well stocked. Plenty of room and very cozy.

Summary: We had a great stay at this house. The hosts are especially kind and caring and made sure we had everything we need throughout the stay. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed was very comfortable and the whole space was tastefully designed and decorated. All the cleaning products were unscented, which for us was a big bonius since we are sensitive to perfumes. And the view from the house in the back is a peaceful open field with nice sunrises. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Summary: Our family enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It’s an older, cozy home, filled with God’s presence. The location is beautiful; nestled in the country. We enjoyed family dinners, fires and good conversations. I was nervous about not having a TV but it worked out. A radio for music might be a nice touch? The steps are a bit steep but all bedrooms were fine. We managed with one bathroom and there were 5 of us. The children’s toys came in handy since we had a one year old. The house was very clean and surroundings were beautiful! Dean was a wonderful host. He checked on us throughout our stay to make sure everything was okay.
