3 Bedroom Cottage in Montreat

The little 1930's cottage is a Super Sweet and Charming space tucked into the mountain side. It offers three porches and a rock patio with small fire pit for even more outdoor time. Just a 10 minute walk down to Lake Susan or Robert Lake Park. A hammock on two porches and rockers on all as well as a bench swing and an additional bench swing out in the yard, we have a Charcoal Grill as well as a Propane Grill outside, Updated appliances, washer and dryer and dishwasher, Stone fireplace, a/c units on all levels and baseboard heater on each level (except loft) with basic cable and phone. The home has 3 bedrooms and one bunk nook (2 single bunk beds-good for kiddos but adults fit here too) and a loft and love seat hide`a`bed as well as a new screen porch turned in to a screened bedroom. Private gravel parking pad and just a few steps into front door. Hiking Galore!!! Local Fly Fishing, Zip Lining, White Water Rafting, Local Pool, camps for kids, Camp Grounds in Montreat and surrounding areas as well, Tubing, National Parks, Waterfalls, Caverns, Racing, Cherokee Casino, Minor League Baseball (Asheville Tourists), Golfing, Shopping, Trains to Ride, Historical Sites, Biltmore House of Asheville, Amusement Parks (Dollywood, Tweetsie Railroad, Maggie Valley, Cherokee w/casino) all within minutes to about two hours from the house. So many great places to eat locally,

Summary: Nice house with lots of room. Only thing that we didn’t love was the driveway and parking with multiple cars. Overall great stay.

Summary: The setting was beautiful in spite of the rain. The house was very comfortable and met of all our needs.... beds, bedding, TV, kitchen supplies, bathrooms. From time to time, we relaxed on both decks. Over all, we had an enjoyable mini-family reunion. Hope to rent the property next year! Sylvia

Summary: This cabin was well appointed, and the communication with the owners was perfect. The outdoor spaces are amazing and ample, and it sleeps six adults comfortably, plus the loft and two small bunks for additional children. Would absolutely stay again!

Summary: We stayed here on a rainy weekend and it was a perfect getaway. They had everything we needed plus lots of little extra touches to make it feel like home. Beds are super comfy and the kids rooms and sleeping porch were huge hits with the kids. The hosts were super responsive, friendly and helpful. We’d go back in a heartbeat!

Summary: Treetop Treasure is a charming comfortable cottage. The owner provided many welcoming and friendly touches. There are two wonderful porches for coffee, relaxing, thinking, and conversation. The porches are the star of the cottage. Once inside the cottage or on the porch, it's easy to forget the cares of the "outside world." There are numerous steps, inside and outside, so if one has accessibility issues this may be a problem. The directions to the driveway need to be revised. Coming into Montreat on Assembly Drive, turn right onto Louisiana. At the 4 way stop sign of Lousianna and Virginia, turn right onto Virgina, and follow Virginia up around the hairpin turn. As soon as going around the turn look for gravel drive on left hand side. There is a green metal trash box and small black street address sign: 208 Virginia Rd. Turn left into driveway and proceed to end of the gavel drive.

Summary: We adore old things and this place is antique in almost every sense! It has so many books and crannies that are cozy, it was a joy to explore! The porches were perfect, everything was available in the little kitchen, the beds were great, my teen loved the loft, the decor was delightful! We had a nice walk around Black Mtn~ great shopping! ~ and the neighborhood! Dozens of precious moments…. If you don’t need sleek and modern, love history and old school family time, this is the place for you!
