Positive: It was an ideal location - close to restaurants, water/river, entertainment activities, and shops. Unit had everything we needed and more. It was quiet and great air-conditioning as it was very hot. Very comfortable beds and plenty of space. Decor was coastal and pretty. Pools and amenities were well kept. Handy having a cafe/restaurant on-site.
Negative: The Unit was quite dirty! The cleaners don't quite cover the bare essentials, let alone a bit extra, unfortunately. We experienced blocked drains in the kitchen sink twice, clogged dishwasher, dirty and stained linen, floors hadn't been mopped or even swept/vacuumed properly. The carpet stairs haven't been properly cleaned in a very, very long time, and glass doors to outside were covered in hand prints from previous tenants - children and adults. There was pink mould build up in all sink/ hand basin drain holes. If an hour extra was spent in the place, a lot of this could be remedied as it is a lovely unit at a fantastic resort. A bit of handyman work needed also- fixing gauzes, curtains back onto rods, wiping out and sorting all cupboards and drawers, removing scuff marks on walls. Owners need to hire someone.
