Escape to a lakeside paradise! Our home offers breathtaking lake views from every room. Start your day with coffee in the living room, spotting eagles, or step out onto the wrap-around deck and screened porch. The master bedroom boasts a queen bed and direct access to the lakefront deck, while the second bedroom features a full bed and a full/twin bunk bed.
The lower level treats you to more stunning lake views, a walk-out patio, a spacious sectional sofa with a flat-screen TV, foosball, and arcade games. Unwind in the full bathroom and indulge in the Swedish sauna, accommodating up to 6 people. Additionally, a private bedroom with a seating area and a queen bed awaits you.
Our fully equipped home ensures a seamless vacation, complete with modern amenities like Roku devices on all TVs. The layout is ideal for multiple families, offering ample space. Make use of the grill, paddle boat, and canoe (not available in winter). Sturgeon Lake's fishing is exceptional – catch dinner in the morning! Discover an incredible, tranquil retreat just under two hours from the city. This is the perfect spot for an unforgettable lakeside getaway!
We will not be on the property at all during your stay but are always available by phone or email should you need anything. You will have full access to the whole house and everything in it with the exception of the garage and two small closets.

Lots of things to do and see in the area. We recommend checking out some of the local golf courses or grabbing a beer at Moose Lake Brewery! Skiing is also close by in Duluth.
Parking is available in our driveway which is long and a bit steep. We recommend four wheel drive in the winter as snow storms can be severe and the area is very rural.
When booking in the winter please come with a spirit of adventure. The cabin is in a secluded area on a long private driveway that can be a challenge after a fresh snow fall. We do have it plowed professionally ASAP but sometimes guests may need to shovel to get in and out. We provide shovels and traction grit should you need it.

Summary: There was a bit of miscommunication with the owner when arriving at the property and we couldn't get in. There was frustration because we couldn't get a hold of anyone to help with the issue. Finally, the owner reached me to indicate the code he sent was incorrect. Once I had the correct code, we were able to get into the home. The house was clean and perfect size for our group. The view was beautiful right on the water. We'd like to go back when it's warmer to take advantage of the canoe and paddle boat.

Summary: This was our 3rd time staying at this cute cabin. I think it is perfect. It's cabin-y cozy, yet open and spacious. Two baths and basement bedroom provide privacy for an extended family stay. It's got everything you want or need--sauna, games, tv room, streaming, view...you name it. Highly recommend.

Summary: This was a lucky find for us since our previous VRBO cancelled us about 6 weeks prior to our scheduled dates. This place was nicer all around. Peaceful on the island,very little traffic. Very beautiful views including the bald eagles that we saw each day. We had no problems with the water or plumbing. The kitchen was nicely equipped. The sandy beach was a hit with the grandkids and a nice walk out to it, a gradual descent to the water line,not a ton of steps. Spacious seating for everyone to spread out. Decorated beautifully. He has been making improvements that will make this gem even more of a treasure. He was easy to work with and helped us with making room for our boat rental. He answered all our questions promptly. We had a great time with our family there. We hope to return again.

Summary: We were two couples looking for a week to relax and spend time on the water fishing and boating. This place fit the bill very nicely! Nice sized bedrooms up and down, so there was privacy for everyone! big screen TV upstairs and down that had plenty to offer! The best feature on the property is the newly redone sand beach and fire pit area! We spent many hours around the fire enjoying the privacy and beauty of the lake! Sturgeon Lake is very clean and the boat landing is very nice and easy to use! If there was any negative, we brought our own boat and it would have been nice to be able to. tie up at a section of the dock overnight, but we were able to just tie up on the beach, which was actually very easy for getting in and out of the boat! A great place! We plan to go back again!

Summary: Wonderful house for our cousin reunion with so much space . The sunrises, loons, eagles were fun to watch and listen to. Wish there were a few suggestions of hiking, biking places nearby and maybe a few more hand towels but still a 5 star!!
