Emily's Cabin at Two Stone Row is located on a beautiful, 85 acre, northern Albemarle County property in Earlysville,Virginia. The cabin sits nearby a private lake and is a perfect place to enjoy a traditional Virginia country setting. Guests are welcome to walk the grounds (including an old cemetery) and fish/boat in the nearby lake.Guests could also spend a dayat nearby Moss Vineyards and Glasshouse Winery (both within a 20 minute drive) or head into downtown Charlottesville, just 12 miles away, for some dining and nightlife.
The original house was built in 1827 in Ringold, VA and has been beautifully restored to retain its historiccharacter with the comfortable amenities of today.The cabinmaintains the original flooring, windows, stairs, and trim. Period antiques are filled throughout the home, adding to the historic charm. The cabin sleeps 4 with a queen bed upstairs and a pullout couch (sleeps 2) in the living room downstairs. The main level offers; a kitchen area with breakfast table for 4,a full bath with walk-in shower and rain shower head, and a living room centered around a wood-burningfireplace with a flat screen tv hooked up to Apple TV. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening on the front porch looking out to the lake with seating for 4. The backside of the house has a brick patio with a charcoal grill and outdoor dining table for 4.The upstairs provides a queen bed and an antique,children's room (bed not for use). **The stairs going upstairs are narrow with high steps;please be careful. Not ideal for those with any disabilities.**
We welcome you to bring your dog to this property for an additional $45 pet fee.
*The cabin is in visibilityof the (very friendly) owners' home, who are extremely gracious hosts.
For those who have parties larger than 4, Tim's Cabin, is also for rent on the property and sleeps 4 as well. Perfect for friends and family wanting to be near by.

Summary: Emily's Cabin was exactly what we were looking for for our vacation. A nice cozy secluded place with plenty of things to do within driving distance. The cabin was gorgeous and rustic but had all the amenities we needed. Our dog loved the wide open space and we were super happy we could bring her with us.

Summary: We greatly enjoyed our stay at Emily's Cabin. The property was beautiful and the cabin was rustic but extremely comfortable and unique. We enjoyed having coffee out on the porch and walking down to the lake and upper meadow. Hearing the sound of the cows lowing in the morning and being able to have a fire in the fireplace at night was extremely nice. We will be back again- interested in checking out Tim's Cabin too. I had made an order to have the cabin stocked with food items ahead of our arrival and when we got there it had not happened. I called the assistance line and Leah was extremely helpful in getting our things delivered as originally planned. I was very happy with how her and the staff involved resolved the issue and were very customer focused. We will certainly plan to stay again.

Summary: We loved staying in this rustic cabin with modern amenities. The four poster bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting out on the porch at night to listen to the frogs in the lake. The owner shared honey from his hives and provided snacks. The very modern glass shower complete with a rain shower was a treat. The owner met us when we arrived to welcome us to the property. A delightful place to stay for quiet and relaxation. So wonderful to alert us that power had gone out due to a storm; it was restored shortly after we arrived

Summary: My boyfriend and I had a wonderful week away at Emily's Cabin! The lake view in the morning, the fireplace in the evening, and the abundance of spots to read and work during the day made it feel like we were a world away, even while we were only 10 or 15 minutes from everything you'd need. Gordon was a super friendly and helpful host, and made sure we had plenty of firewood and even some fresh honey from the bees on property, which was delicious drizzled over yogurt, cornbread, or hot tea. Responsive and timely.

Summary: We loved Emily's Cabin! We have been dying to stay there for years and this is the first time the availability lined up with our schedules. The property is rustic with modern touches that make it comfortable while still giving you the log cabin experience. The cabin is right next to a private lake and on a working farm. The real charm is the owners who make sure that you as a guest are well taken care of and come by to introduce themselves. Can't wait to come back! The Stay Charlottesville team was very responsive and helpful! When we could not figure out the TV they called us to help walk through getting it working at 11pm. We were super appreciative!

Summary: This near 200 year old cabin delivered everything you could want for a rustic getaway. With just enough “modern” amenities to be comfortable, the cabin is furnished with period antiques that really add to its charm. The owners, who reside approximately 20 yards from the cabin in their own rustic abode couldn't be nicer. Upon entering we found a complimentary bottle of wine. A few hours after settling in the owner showed up at the front door with a jar of honey, one dozen eggs, and a half gallon of apple cider......all from his farm. If you have never had freshly laid eggs, you are missing out. We then walked his farm to see the ducks, chickens, his dog, and pet the pigs and sheep.......we kept a respectful distance from the three bulls. Our Dachshund and the pigs unexpectedly became fast friends. One final bonus was a working fireplace with an endless supply of firewood......a rare find today. A great getaway.
