Positive: Perfectly located in Carno on a caravan site. We had use of the caravan facilities, outdoor pool, games room and children's playground. The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves playing with the other children on the site. The cottage is lovely and had everything we needed. Arrived to a loaf of bread, milk, bottle of wine and biscuits. Such a lovely touch. Beds were comfortable and the hot tub was amazing. There is so much outside space too all secluded which was great having a little dog with us. I had to call the owners a couple of times and they were so friendly and more than happy to help. There is a lovely pub at the bottom of the road and a spar not too far away. We were about 20-30 mins from things to do and about an hour away from Aberystwyth. Would definitely recommend!!! Thank you so much for a lovely stay x
Negative: 1 minor minor issue, the remote for the TV didn't work but we didn't watch it much, had to use the TV to change channels. Wasn't worth bothering the owners about it x

Positive: An absolutely perfect tranquil haven in a beautiful area. The cottage had everything we needed and more besides. The hot tub was fantastic for relaxing and watching the stars, the garden perfect for Barney (Labradoodle) to mooch about in. Really cannot rate or recommend Ty Haf highly enough, and would really look forward to going back again.
Negative: Nothing to dislike and nothing to improve on.
Summary: Total peace and relaxation in the glorious Welsh countryside.

Positive: We'd been here before two years ago so knew what to expect. The hot tub is great, the outdoor swimming pool... refreshing! The horses in the field out the back - beautiful.
Negative: Things felt a little less loved this time round. The toilet cistern wouldn't stop refilling, the kitchen tap dripped constantly, and the sofa hadn't been cleaned properly - found a dirty sock, rubbish, and a pokemon card under the cushions. Also, it would make such a difference in a self catering property to have a dish rack on the draining board so you could dry things properly. A few kitchen utensils, pans and chopping boards could also do with being replaced.
Summary: OK but won't be going back.

Positive: the location was amazing, very out of the way of the hustle and bustle - just what we wanted. the beds were very comfy and the hot tub was amazing! a 20-30 minute drive to lots of scenic routes and locations!
Negative: the oven didnt work, and we purchased food that needed cooking and had no way to do so. There was a fair amount of flies in the house. There were spiderwebs in almost every corner of the building, but these are small niggles that don't really bother us. the flies did bother us however and were very annoying.
Summary: Cosy and comfortable, but could have been cleaner.

Positive: A lovely, well-appointed quiet cottage, plenty of parking space, half a mile from the pub.Very clean with everything you needed including tea, coffee, sugar & milk in the fridge PLUS a hamper full of goodies, very thoughtful. The Hot Tub was already to get into, great.
Negative: Nothing realy, Just being picky, the shower head bracket was broken, the kettle had a slight leak,the kitchen tap needed tightening, but nothing that spoilt our stay. We left a note for the owners so i'm sure will all be fixed for the next visitors.
Summary: A very enjoyable stay, would certainly come again, as many others have.
