Summary: The overall experience was great. The houseboat was comfortable and love being right on the water. They had a restaurant and pool on the premises which was convenient and nice due to the hot weather. It was also nice not being right downtown. The only negative was that the description noted 2 bathrooms in the house and this unit only had 1.

Summary: I wish i really could have enjoyed this more. Oh no it had nothing to do with this property. This boathouse was so comfortable so sexy so relaxing. It really felt amazing. I came here for relaxation N thats exactly what i got. Only thing that was.... confusing is door dash is awful to recieve here. But on a better note staff is extremely helpful was on call if you need anything.and if you lucky you will build a bond to make this vacation that much more memorable. I may return if i ever go back to new orleans

Summary: The property was amazing. Restaurant and store insight were clutch. Beautiful spot, yacht repair next door was cool to watch. Great walkable property! The restaurant menu was perfect and everything we ate was bomb. I did not understand from the listing and the photos that there are two separate places and i guess you roll the dice on which one you get? Some of the photos were not of the place we stayed in… which worked out ok for our group. The coffee pot also only works if you hold the button just right. I wouldn’t suggest it for kids just because the walkway does not have a railing. We will return all said!

Summary: In effort to write a thorough review, this might get wordy! In finding this listing, I was so excited for a unique stay. What we got was quite a mix. First things first, weve stayed in a handful of VRBOs, all of which (except this one) communicated beforehand about check in procedures and how to access our rental. Not good or bad, but notable. The other "Pros" of this unit was that the resort as a whole had a fair amount of amenities, the staff was helpful. The gate felt safe and the proximity to the french quarter was nice. The cons: this unit was FILTHY. The floors were dirty and sticky. The stove had old food stuck on it and the oven was dirty. There are brown splatters in the loft. We unfortunately had a long day of travel and came here to find inadequate and dirty bedding (the delays- not their fault. Not being prepared for us absolutely was. A HUGE bummer). The 2 pullout beds cant be used at the same time without rearranging furniture, and even at that neither were ready to be slept in- we ended up taking the duvet covers off our comforter so our kids could make a makeshift bed in the loft, there was 0 extra bedding. NO WAY can 8 people fit in here unless half sleep on the floor in the loft. Upon complaining about bedding, we got new sheets and a couple pillows tossed down our hallway. The kitchen is super light on supplies. I did speak with the property manager and she refunded us one night. Overall I cant say I would recommend.

Summary: I brought my husband here for an unique experience, and our visit was nothing short of that! The atmosphere was nice, we ate at the restaurant above the main office. We took full advantage of the game room they had…even though none of the games worked, it was no problem to keep score in our heads. Ping pong, basketball, giant connect four. The villa was amazing, it was cozy and welcoming. I was excited about the top deck and it was everything we needed it to be. Definitely would come back in warmer months.

Summary: The floating house we rented —very beautiful in the advertising pictures— was not at all what we were expecting. An agreeable house during the day became extremely disagreeable and uncomfortable during the night because of the VERY poor and cold electric lighting existing in the house!!!

Summary: We were a little confused about checkin procedure as we were waiting for instructions. I finally called after several VRBO messages sent. Once checked in, they had an escort take us to floating villa on water- the wrong 1 and our pass key worked only to find it was already occupied. We found ours and it was great except was little sparse on kitchen supplies and no blankets. We luckily brought couple small ones on our trip. You have to purchase wifi per night. This is an RV park/home/ houseboat rental location so many options. Loved waking up to ducks, cranes, and gulls each morning and the location was beautifully landscaped and well kept. Many things to do: swim, horseshoes, gaming area,cornhole,hot tub, boat at marina. Our son loved the lift inside our houseboat. It was unfurnished except for a TV, but left him to his own private retreat to game. We enjoyed the upper deck gor some sun, meals and needed relaxation. Kinda of deceiving by pics of boat. The pics on site were from the other 2 floating villas mostly. Still very nice.

Summary: This was a fun home base to our short family NOLA adventure. My husband and son enjoyed fishing from the villa rooftop deck, it was nice to sit up there and enjoy the weather and watch the planes and boats coming and going. We utilized the hot tub and it was nice to have. The beds were terrible, though! And the villa was advertised to sleep 8, but there was no mattress in the “sleeping loft”. Thankfully, our teen didn’t mind making a pallet on the floor.

Summary: So happy we chose to stay here versus the city. It was a short drive to the city. The house/property was worth the price! The staff were friendly and helpful our whole stay. We have no complaints!
