Centrally located, this bright and sunny above ground Suite offers stunning sunsets with a gorgeous view of downtown . This is an above ground suite, not the full house.
Two bedrooms with Queen beds and a single pullout in the living room couch . lots of extra bedding is stored in the pull up storage area under the couch cushions.
A Nespresso coffee machine, with a couple pods, a drip coffee maker for larger groups and instant coffee with Sugar and a creamer with be in the suit when you arrive.
Fully equipped kitchen with lots of dishes and utensils for making home meals.
You have your own heat control and it’s always a nice temperature even in hot summer days.
A full outside deck for summer BBQ’s with outdoor patio furniture for outdoor eating. A large cooler for long all day trips that u can bring with you.
Walking distance to the North Vancouver Library and Lonsdale Ave where you can find, food and drinks and transportation.
15 -20 mins to downtown, grouse mountain, cypress and beaches, there’s lots of local attractions. North Vancouver ship yards has live music every Friday throughout the Summer months.
Capilano suspension Bridge, trails including the Grouse grind, Lynn Headwaters are only minutes away.

Summary: I am exceptionally glad we picked this spot for our visit to Vancouver. Our host made our stay perfect. She is kind and generous. Lots of advice about local restaurants was given. She shared her paddle boards with us so we didnt need to rent them. Totally unexpected and very appreciated! From the moment we arrived it was very clear our host hoped for us to have a great time. Highly recommend.

Summary: This daylight basement apartment was a perfect place for my husband, teenage son and I. The garden was relaxing, and the decor of the space was peaceful. North Vancouver gave us many places to explore, and at the end of each day, we were happy to come home to a place that felt cozy. Amanda is an extremely thoughtful host. We would absolutely return!

Summary: Property was a nice tucked away VRBO. We were literally just sleeping there so it was adequate for what we needed. Not much to watch on TV for the kids but it was ok as we were not spending much time there. Be sure to take extra towels as you are only provided with the exact number of guests check in. No extra bedding was provided so we did have to do an extra wash when something got dirty. Front door could do with some privacy as it overlooks the garden and anyone can peer through the door. We had to use one of the bed sheets that was on the bed to create some privacy. Even though the door is in the back garden it's hard with kids when the only bathroom is right at the entrance so if you do happen to get them changed in the bedroom they have to be fully clothed to go to the bathroom if there isn't any privacy. This is the only reason I took one star off because it was a bit of an inconvenience to set up every night. Amanda was a great host otherwise. The only caution I would give to people is that if you leave something behind don't expect to be notified. It's quietly tucked away for future guests to use. I took my orthopedic pillow with me and my daughter covered the bed with the blankets at the end so I missed it and it wasn't until I got back home in Portland that I realized that it was missing. It would have been nice to have been notified when it was found. I know it's not a requirement of a host but just something going above and beyond. Amanda was great in retrieving it back and her communication but I won't get my pillow back until my next visit to Vancouver which I was a bit disappointed with. I would 100% recommend Amanda and her VRBO with just a couple of caveats as mentioned above.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in this North Vancouver property. It is well located near everything you would want to visit, and things like grocery stores, pharmacy's, etc.....As a guest you have the bottom suite of the house to yourself, with the owner and her family upstairs. Amanda was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants, activities, etc.

Summary: Amanda and her beautiful basement apartment are an absolute joy. So pleased we chose this excellent location and host for our final week in Vancouver. Amanda was so warm and accommodating, responding to our every query very promptly and with such kindness. We loved our stay here.

Summary: Amanda’s place was super nice very well maintained and they were great hosts. Left extra coffee and toilet paper for me the bathroom was fully stocked with all necessities. Super clean and nice place. Location was great very accessible

Summary: This place was perfect. It was a nice size and very clean. Location was a short drive to downtown and in an nice neighborhood. Amanda is a great host. She was very helpful and responds quickly.

Summary: We really enjoyed this quiet spot in North Vancouver. We were able to walk to the Seabus, enjoy the Lonsdale Quay / Shipyards area and easily get to Vancouver waterfront. The Amanda the host was super.

Summary: Amanda is a very nice and supportive host. The place is a 20 min walk from the seabus station and the shipyards. North Vancouver is different, even more relaxed, if possible😉. The appartment is large and perfectly equipped for a group/family.
