Summary: Lovely dog-friendly property with great facilities. Fabulous bathroom (in which to take a long soak with a glass of wine), really good kitchen with all that appliances you need. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The beds were really good - which is not always the case. The garden was an added bonus, with a stunning view. My Collie made friends with a Shire Horse living in the adjoining field. There aren't many places to get a beautiful photo of a giant horse leaning over a fence and sharing a kiss with a lovely dog. I would highly recommend Vale View to other holidaymakers. Thank you to the owner/owners. Sharon Little.

Summary: The bungalow is much bigger than we’d expected and was clean throughout. The bathroom was newly renovated to a good standard and the shower was particularly good. The conservatory was also very nice and warmed up quickly with the heating on, though we liked the idea of having the sofa in there - it had been removed unfortunately. The only thing the house needs is a few more plates and bowls as although it was enough for us, a family of four might struggle. Overall a very pleasant stay and we would definitely come back, and great value.

Summary: I booked for the wrong year, luckily the day after was available. Regardless of the fact I noticed this on Christmas Eve (two days before we were due to arrive, or so I thought), we managed to communicate with the owner. We were accommodated easily and communication was really good. We were allowed to check in early upon arrival. The accomodation was perfect for us and two doors away from the local pub! The only thing I would say is the garden isn't quite ready for dogs. The fences are in need of repair and the garden is not secure. We had to stand outside with them to ensure they did not escape. Maybe the owners have recently purchased this property and are in the process of doing it up. Otherwise a great rental.
