Summary: Overall, this hotel was fantastic. We were there for an event at the Richmond Olympic Oval, so this was super close and convenient. We had a suite, which allowed us to comfortably fit 4 kids and 2 adults. The hotel and rooms were clean, comfortable, and well appointed (we loved the shampoo/conditioner!), the restaurant was good, we loved the outdoor pool, and parking was safe and easy. The only negative part of our experience was that we were on the 18th floor, right by the elevator. We are not particularly sensitive to elevators (we're not guests who usually request to be distanced from an elevator when staying at hotels) but the noise and rumbling from the elevator in our room was very disturbing. It continued all night and the room actually physically shook whenever the elevator moved. We think it might have been because we were on the top floor and the elevator mechanics/winch was right above us, making it particularly loud as a result? I am a pretty sound sleeper and sleep with earplugs in, but the noise was still audible. My husband (who could sleep beside a moving train) was also kept up all night by the sound and vibrations. Even our kids (who were exhausted from a sports competition and who will sleep through anything) complained that the had been woken in the night by the sound. So, overall, a great hotel, but just be careful on the top floor by the elevator!

Summary: Overall good. Like that the room was kind of lately refurbished. The balcony and the city view were nice! However the sofa bed in the suite we booked was very dirty: the sheet was unchanged since at least last guest as there was hair and stain on the bed sheet! The bathroom is just too tiny comparing to the room size. Also the fridge placed by the sofa bed was really noisy at sleep time as it constantly turns on and off. I had to switch it to off at 5AM after waken by it.

Summary: I’ve been staying here for about 25 years and it’s kept the same high quality for the price I look forward to. Comfortable, clean, quiet room in the heart of Richmond. Great bar and restaurant. Very convenient for the airport.
