Amadeus is a spacious and comfortable 4 bedroom Villa, 3 of these bedrooms are accessed via a marble spiral staircase, 2 twin bedded rooms and 1 double 5ft bedded room with en suite and large private balcony. There is also a double 5ft bedroom located on the ground floor. It has 3 bathrooms and a large open plan living / dining area. Fully fitted kitchen. The Villa is fully Air conditioned and has fly screens to all windows and shutters. It is set in the hills overlooking Kalathos and the spectacular Panoramic Sea views can be enjoyed from the private gardens, poolside and all of the bedroom balconies. It has a beautiful large patio area with pergola and brick built BBQ with table and chairs for alfresco dining. There is also Internet access. A peaceful location within easy reach of everything.
Lindos the whitewashed picturesque village is less than five minutes away by car, where you will find cobbled streets and fabulous beaches with crystal clear waters and amazing rooftop restaurant. Rhodes Greece: Rhodes is the largest of the Dodecanese Islands and the third largest Island in Greece. It is positioned south east of the mainland close to the coastline of Turkey. The Island is said to have more days of sunshine than any other in the Mediterranean and so is very popular with sun worshipers. The temperature is at its hottest in July and August at about 40 degrees. There are fewer tourists in April and May and June sees the beginnings of a busy summer with visitors from all over Europe.

Summary: What can I say! Villa was superb, exactly right for us as a now-all-grown-up family of 5 - was supposed to be 6 but one daughter had to be at work. As for the view; spectacular doesn't even start to describe it. A panoramic sweep of the whole coast, from Archangelos to Lindos. Pool was a bit green when we arrived but the maintenance people sorted that - probably due to old sun screen in the water. No problems with it from then on. Pool is a great size, we all fitted in at once :) Villa is very well equipped, real home from home. Kalathos itself is lovely. Not busy but a good base to get anywhere, especially Lindos. There is plenty in Kalathos, including some good tavernas. We would like to add our own personal recommendation of the On The Road bar / pizzeria next to the Shell petrol station. Pizzas were amazing and a simple walk back up to the villa meant a nice al-fresco dinner on the patio. We did that twice as the pizzas were so good! We have been to Rhodes many times before but this is our first time staying in Kalathos. I would like to think we'll be back sometime. Hopefully not too rambling a review but also hoping I am getting across how much we enjoyed staying at Amadeus :)

Summary: Stayed for 12 days in August 2020, the Villa was perfect for our family. Great location (but you do need a car) close to some of the best beaches and with some great restaurants just a short drive away. Owners were really helpful and accommodating with a request for late check out. Villa was exactly as described, spacious with a great pool and everything you will need.

Summary: The villa was fully equipped with stunning views & a great pool. Access to a vehicle is advisory, as it is located in an elevated position in Kalathos. It did, however, require some tlc, with shutters that would not close correctly, fly screens broken, locks on all the internal doors not usable, electrical sockets hanging off the wall, door handle falling off and only two sun umbrellas available, a third being broken & the fourth missing. Our biggest concern was the fact that the villa was for sale & we were not advised of this. On one occasion when returning from a day out, we found 2 x people wandering on the villa grounds, asking about the villa, we assumed they were prospective buyers. The villa grounds could not be secured, as the external gates would not close correctly. None of these things detracted from the fact that we had a great holiday, with the villa being in a good location to explore the island, Rhodes old town & Lindos being special highlights.

Summary: Loved villa,loads of little extras super pool.everything super .only shame is water not avalible 3days out 14 due to local stoppage,other than that perfect,needs a car very steep hill.

Summary: We have just come back from a wonderful holiday, staying at Villa Amadeus. The villa is spacious, comfortable, with all the amenities our large family group required. It provided a lovely base from which to explore the island. This has been our first villa experience and we really enjoyed having the pool all to ourselves and not having to put towels on sun beds every morning! We would also like to especially mention Jamie, our local contact, we found him to be really helpful.

Summary: We have just got back and we all wished we had booked a longer holiday and that was mostly down to the villa (and the sun of course) the pictures do not do this place justice it's absolutely beautiful the views are stunning it's lovely and clean and has everything you need. We were there for a wedding and the wedding party who were staying in a hotel said they wished they had booked this instead. Jamie was very helpful when we needed him and nothing was to much trouble. Everything is close by there's a fantastic restaurant that does homemade pizzas it's just after the shell garage at the bottom of the hill I cannot remember it's name. Book book book this villa you will not regret it!!

Summary: The villa had everything we needed and was very well equipped, with clean bed ,linen and plenty of towels. There is plenty of living space with two outside dining areas as well a substantial table in the kitchen. The villa is only 2 minutes away from a supermarket and whilst we chose not to go to Kalathos beach it would be only a 2 minute drive/20 minute walk. Jamie who is in charge of maintaining the pool and garden answered any query we had promptly and was incredibly helpful in guiding us to local beaches and restaurants. Lindos and Haraki were our beaches of choice but because we went at the end of the season they were wonderfully quiet and allowed for the children to swim and snorkel freely. A wonderful island to visit at this time of year, we have had a brilliant week.
