4 Bedroom Villa in Sengkidu, Candidasa

Looking for a villa with the perfect formula for an awesome holiday? Villa Cocoa Maya is right on the beach, fully serviced, staffed and catered (breakfast is included in your rate). We are not a self-catering villa but provide a reasonably priced a la carte menu - no need to lift a finger. The villa is set in a large, flat tropical garden. It's a 5-minute walk into central Candidasa, and is within easy access of all eastern Bali's sights (we have a car and driver for your use at an extra charge).
We have recently refurbished Villa Cocoa Maya. We have updated our furniture and soft furnishings and have added an outside games room in the garden with a pool table, large SMART TV, a fully stocked bar fridge and comfortable seating - the perfect entertainment area for everyone.
The 80-metre Garden Suite bedroom on the ground floor is ideal for a family of four as there is a double bunk and an extra king-size bed.
Alternatively, it works equally well for four children/teenagers as the super-king bed can be separated into two 3/4 size beds. We have put a large SMART TV into the Garden Suite and a comfortable L-shaped sofa.
The 120-metre Joglo Suite on the top floor with a wraparound balcony remains the pièce de résistance at Villa Cocoa Maya. It has outdoor seating and a large daybed inside the Joglo to take in the gorgeous ocean and island views.
The two middle floor bedrooms (both 60 metres in size), the Ikat and Gamelan rooms, have also been refurbished with new soft furnishings.
All the bedrooms have high quality linen, soft duvets, air conditioners and ceiling fans. There are tea and coffee stations in each bedroom and beautiful ocean views throughout.
Outdoors we've got many areas to enjoy the garden and the views - the comfortable and relaxed bale benong (gazebo) near the beach, outdoor dining for 14 people, a large and comfortable sofa to laze on under the trees and plenty of sun loungers. And did we mention our 18-metre infinity swimming pool? Excellent for laps if you're feeling energetic or enjoying the view on the martini step!

Summary: This house, the grounds and the staff were so amazing! Seriously, the most beautiful of all three! Komang arranged all of our excursions, so we didn’t have to worry about anything! Breakfast was amazing, and we definitely took advantage of the menu for lunches and dinners. They are fantastic cooks and we loved every dish we ordered! We just left and are already working on planning a trip to bring the rest of the family! Highly recommend for romantic or family trips! Literally was in tears when we were leaving and I cannot wait to return! ❤️

Summary: Villa Cocoa Maya is amazing, stunning, extraordinary. The facility of the villa is just perfect. The building, rooms, beds, pool and everyhing is well managed and prepared. You'll also find some art works tha villa has and it makes the property even look better. The view from the villa is just wonderful(There should be a better exprrssion than this). You can enjoy both sunrise and sunset, at everywhere at the villa, it is what you want to see everyday for sure. The staffs are the real gem for this villa. All the staffs are extremely kind and they made our wonderful days at the villa. And the food they cooked for us was just so good. Thank you so much for us to enjoy the best vacation! I really wish to come again with our family!

Summary: Have you ever stayed at a place where literally there is not one single thing you would change? This is it! From the first communication to the last, the Villa Cocoa Maya team was truly AMAZING! Tash, Komang, Ketut, Murni, Gede & Nyoman welcomed us in superior Balinese fashion. The villa is beyond spectacular! Starting each day at what we affectionately call the outdoor "Jaffle Hut" (jaffle being one of the great breakfast options) was magical. The food? Tremendous! When booking I was initially hesitant as the villa offers a set menu but oh my goodness the range and deliciousness of the options satisfied a diverse group of preferences. Truly outstanding! Highlights included relaxing at the villa, an impromptu cooking lesson in hopes I can recreate a couple of my favorite dishes - thank you Ketut & Komang! But the best of all? After much arm twisting we finally convinced Komang & Ketut to sit down and join us for dinner late one evening. It was such a pleasure and honor, and frankly so much fun, to share the time with them!! I would LOVE to come back to Villa Cocoa Maya and would recommend it to anyone that loves luxury accomodations, service and food beyond your expectations and a gorgeous view with a perfectly subtle ocean breeze. AMAZING!!! Thank you Villa Cocoa Maya for an amazing experience and for the surprise anniversary celebration! We appreciate you all!

Summary: The villa is absolutely amazing! The pictures online were amazing… but seeing it in person is breathtaking. Even better than the villa itself…is the staff. Komang and team were incredible. The villa was always clean, the grounds and pool were always kept…and the food they prepared was amazing. Best of all…they were great to talk to and…after a week together…they felt like family. Special thanks to our drivers Katut and Yoman who we spent a lot of time with sightseeing around the island. They were phenomenal! We enjoyed getting to know them both. Everyone we met with associated with the Villa was truly amazing. They made the vacation even more special. Someday…when Bali calls again…we will not hesitate to return to Villa Cocoa Maya!

Summary: The house is absolutely stunning, and the views can’t be beat. Also, I can’t say enough about the staff they went above and beyond in every way. Would highly recommend this property if you were looking to be a little out of the way. This was our first trip to Bali, and the only slight disappointment was that we seem to be well outside the main tourist areas. But if you were looking for a quieter experience in beautiful surroundings, this is a great property.

Summary: What an amazing property inside and out! The home had large rooms and was beautifully furnished with modern baths equipped with nice linens, toiletries, blow dryers and converters. The outdoor area was an oasis with spectacular views, beautiful gardens with multiple seating areas to sun, relax and enjoy meals. The staff, led by Komang, were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious with lots of choices and cooked to ordered for each guest. Each evening, Komang helped to arrange massages, tours, drivers and supplies for our next day adventures. We were celebrating a special occasion and Komang arranged for beautiful cake decorated with birthday girl’s name, candles and staff came out singing birthday wishes. I Nyoman Karinu was our main driver for week and was a wonderful tour guide helping us to navigate each day’s trip. Thank you to the owner who was very quick to respond before we arrived with all questions and request. We truly can’t say enough about the location, staff and home except to say we would highly recommend this property for a family vacation.

Summary: We are 4 couples who have just returned from a 6 night stay here at Villa Cocoa Maya. Book it, you will not be disappointed! A short drive down a narrow track past the cockrells takes you to this gem right on the beach. The pictures are as it is. Komang the villa manager and her team work hard to make your stay just perfect. They will cook delicious food from the menu, book taxis, arrange trips at your request. The rooms are huge and beautifully decorated. A fabulous stay in Candidasa, Bali.

Summary: We are a family with 5 children, 3 to 11 years old, 4 parents and 2 grandparents who spend two weeks in Cocoa Maya. We all had a wonderful time in the big house with plenty of space inside and outside. The house is beautiful decorated, the staff are all very friendly and effective, Komang was able to arrange almost every event we wanted. The pool and the garden were kept clean all the time and we also enjoyed the swimming and snorkelling in the sea just outside. We hope to come back.
