Positive: Beautiful hotel right on a great beach. They were generous with amenities, and a pleasure to chat with about anything. They have water toys for hire right by the beach, as well as complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas. Everything was truly great.
Negative: Food in the restaurant is not amazing, but works for a chill beach meal. Drinks are great.

Positive: We had a partial view ocean room. The first night when we arrived to the room the AC was off, but wasn't sure if that's how they went about things- however, throughout the night we realized our AC wasn't working (compressor was broken) and it was extremely hot. But the next day we told reception and they were able to switch us into another room. We did arrive late at night around 10:30pm, so apparently we could've told security our issue but to be honest we were not aware of that. Cofresi however, was accommodating. The food at the restaurant wasn't that great- I would suggest to do more bar food and drinks. The bar is really cute and the ocean view is splendid. Pool is accessible, and overall the place is a classic, despite setbacks- it was worth it.
Negative: Our first room was more modern than our 2nd room, despite it being the "same exact room."

Positive: Very beautiful. Friendly people.
Negative: Showers should have hand bars to hold on to. I’m elderly and I was worried I was going to fall. Food and drink prices pretty high.

Positive: I liked the location. There is a bar and restaurant there. You can hear the waters crash but there's no beach sand area. The pool was nice. There's a juke box to buy music and works sometimes. The live act one night was great. But they let random people come into the private resort and I had to park outside the resort down an alley and walk over instead of being able to park inside the resort I paid for.
Negative: Upon arriving the staff didn't tend to me. They chit chatted on the phone ignoring a customer right in front who already paid in full and traveled 6 hours. Staff didn't even give me my key and I was who booked the room. I had to go to the desk the next day to ask for my receipt. The room beds were maid daily but I was only given two towels when it was three staying in the room. I had to go out and buy my own towel. There wasn't even hand soap. I also had to go buy that. My last night, maid service threw out my body exfoliating glove and moved all my toiletries around including my tooth brush from where I had it. No other day did that happen. One of the nights I ordered rice and beans and the rice was crunchy. I didn't finish it so I didn't break a tooth. The entire vacation they were doing remodeling. You often heard drilling. I had to sit in my rental car to do my conference.
Summary: During my stay, it was so "good" I walked next door to another resort to book my stay there.

Positive: The hotel was in a great location, right on the beach and not far from downtown Rincon. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were very attentive.
